I woke up with a fright. It's Wednesday. My phones blaring my alarm. It's 6.30AM. It's a school day.

I let out a sigh and turned around in my bed, hiding my face under the covers.

However, the incessant ringing continued before I had no choice but to get up, walk over to it and turn it off.

Who's genius idea was it to put it on the other side of the room anyway? Yesterday's version of me was a pain in today's version of me's ass.

"Amelia! Turn that bloody alarm off!" James yelled.

"I already have! You need to get up now anyway moron." I told.

I sleepily made my way to the bathroom and showered, then I got changed into ripped black skinny jeans, baggy white vest top with slits down the side and my scruffy black chuck Taylor's, tied my hair into a messy high pony and didn't bother with make up.

I could hear James snoring in the other room, so I snuck in, crept super close to his bed... And then I threw all my weight on top of him.

"Rise and Shine beautiful!" I teased, shaking the bed as much as possible.

"Screw you Amelia, I'm staying in bed." He told me.

To me, this sounded like a challenge.

I rushed from the room and grabbed a huge bucket from the garden, filled it to the top with freezing water and walked back to James' room.

"Are you getting up?" I asked him, holding the bucket over his head. He didn't bother looked at me, or even opening his eyes, so he didn't notice the heavy metal bowl above his head.

"Nope."

"Is that your final answer?"

"Yep."

"Fine." I said, pouring the entire bucket full over his bed.

His eyes shot open and he jumped from the bed, "A-AM-AMELIA!" He screamed, his words breaking as he shivered. "I W-WILL KILL YOU!"

I ran for it, sprinting down the stairs as he chased me, he was a little taller even if he was younger and caught me before I reached the safety of the kitchen.

He picked me up easily around the stomach and shook me around, "apologise." He demanded.

"NEVER!" I yelled.

"Fine." He said, "MAX?" He called, Max's cute little sleepy head appeared from behind the kitchen door.

"Yes?" Max asked, rubbing his eyes in the most adorable way.

"Could you get me that bucket from my bedroom and fill it up with water please and then get it over here?" James asked him.

Max's face transformed from that of an angel to that of a demon as a mischievous smile grew on his lips and he ran of to get the bucket.

"Are you ready to change your mind?" James asked.

"I won't do it." I told him stubbornly.

"Then you will be drenched in water as I am drenched in water." He vowed, "Max, Hurry up!"

Max came struggling down the stairs with the bucket splashing water from the side a little on each step. It was only filled half way up so that Max could carry it, but I was already dreading the icy liquid being thrown onto my body.

"Cmon Max, don't do this to me? You love me right?" I begged. Max just continued to grin.

James put me on the floor and held my legs down by my ankles so that I couldn't get away.
