Sunday passed quickly, we visited the Eiffel Tower and bought posh coffees from a fancy cafe, we continued to pass museums and watch as a man stood outside by a river, painting in bright colours on strange materials. We talked, we laughed and we lived.

Then it was Monday, the day we returned home. We woke up later than we had the rest of the trip, Zoe had got back early this morning and looked as sad as I felt for having to go.

"Hungry?" Zoe asked unenthusiastically, holding up an apple in each hand, Ally and I took one each and bit into them with a crunch as we packed our bags.

Ally started sighing with every piece of clothing she packed into her bag, it was driving me crazy.

Socks went in. Sigh. Dress went in. Sigh. Shoes went in. Sigh. Everything else went in one by one. SIGH.

"I can't believe we're leaving," I said sulkily, "I don't feel like we've even been here a day!"

"I know, it's horrible, I never wanna leave!" Ally replied, beginning to just screw up her things rather than pack them neatly like she'd been doing before.

"And we'll have to go back and face everyone, Ashley will tell us all about Johnson and Shawn will want to be all touchy-feely with me and Nash will want to meet and Cam will still hate us both..." My voice trailed off.

"Aimee stop, you're making me feel worse. I didn't even think that was possible until you did it!" She scowled, throwing her head back onto the bed and fake crying.

"Girls we need to go!" Zoe called from the doorway, two minutes later she was poking her head through the door to speed us up.

"I know you don't wanna leave," Zoe said, "and I wish I could say we could stay, but you have school and the mansion on Friday and I figured we could come back soon anyway. You don't wanna get sick of it on one trip, do you?" We both muttered 'no' and shuffled out of the front door.

It wasn't long before we arrived at the airport and found our flight had been delayed by four hours.

"Well this is just what we needed?" Ally complained, slumping onto a chair.

"So I woke up so early for nothing?" I asked.

"Apparently so."

I sat down next to her with a huff and pulled out my phone for messages.

Lucas had sent me some messages:

What time is your flight?

Where are you?

I'm at an airport, I'm hoping it's the right one? It's the one closest to your apartment..

ANSWER ME

I bought my surprise visitor along!

I was about to send my replies when another message pinged on my phone, telling me that Lucas had found me and was heading towards me now.

I scanned the area looking for him and spotted a blonde mop of hair heading towards us.

"Lucas!" I called running over to him and jumping on him to give him a hug. He was really starting to grow on me, in a big brother kind of way.

"You're here!" Ally screamed, jumping onto the two of us in a group hug.

"Obviously! I wouldn't leave you two without saying good bye!" He replied grinning.

"Aw, you're the sweetest." I told him, still smiling, he was just such a cutie.

"Well, what can I say?" He teased with a wink, "anyways, I have someone I want you to meet. Amelia, Ally, this is Pierre, my boyfriend."
