Driving home with Nash was easy.
There were no awkward silences and he was constantly smiling and joking with me, like old times; but as much as I tried to push the thoughts to the back of my mind, I couldn't help but think about what Ally said...
"Wow, how are you even doing this with him?" She asks me.
"What do you mean?"
"Like kissing him and being all cute without knowing if you two are actually dating or not." She explains.
I shook my head to try erase the thoughts from my mind and concentrated on what Nash was saying.
"So, you still good to come to the mansion this week?" He asked me as we turned down our road.
"Yeah, I'm pretty excited about it." I replied honestly.
"Me too. What day is it that were actually going?"
I shrug, "Tuesday I think? Or maybe tomorrow... I'll check with Ally." I tell him, parking on the driveway and getting out my phone to text her.
Nash slides out of the passenger seat whilst I'm typing and makes his way round to the side of my door before opening it for me.
I blush and step out, "thanks."
He smirks and follows me to his front door, sandwiching me between himself and the door as he unlocks it.
I make my way through the house, knowing it like the back of my hand as it was exactly the same as my own, towards the kitchen.
"Okay, so first things first, we need ingredients." I inform him as I open the cook book to the cake section, "butter, eggs, self-raising flour, caster sugar and a drop of water."
Nash collects all the ingredients (minus the water) and places them in front of me along with baking trays, a bowl, measuring scales and multiple spoons.
"What, no whisk?" I joke, nudging his arm with my elbow.
"Ah! I knew I was forgetting something!" He replied, reaching into a cupboard and pulling out a high-tech whisk with extra features - who needs extra features for a whisk?
Nash stood there looking at me expectantly, leaning against the counter as he did.
I stared back, "what?"
He shrugged, "I've never baked anything before in my life, how do you do it?"
I chuckled, "Never?"
"That's what I said, isn't it Millie?" He told me, waving it of with his hand.
He snatched the cook book from my hand and read, "Seriously? This is easy." He told me arrogantly, slamming the book down on the counter.
"Oh really?"
"Oh yeah."
"So you think you could make one without me then?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.
He smirked, "In my sleep."
"Fine. How about a deal then?"
