"He actually said that?" Ally said, sitting cross-legged on my bed. She'd come straight to my house as soon as she heard what has happened between me and Nash.

"Yep." I said, but then I started to feel bad, she only knew my side of the story, what if I were in the wrong? "But I was being a bitch too, so I guess I kinda deserved it..."

"Eurgh, Aimee, you always do this. Stop trying to blame yourself, you had an argument and he took it too far, he's in the wrong, not you. I swear to god, if you carry on I will kill you." She told me, so I held my hands up in surrender and shut up about it.

"What are we doing tonight?" She asked.

"Homework?" I asked hopefully, I was seriously falling behind on my school work.

"Ew, no. I don't wanna watch you work all night, do I? We should go out!" She told me excitedly.

"Really?"

"Yes! But I can't be bothered to do anything major, why don't we just go to McDonald's for dinner or something? I haven't been there in forever!" Ally started to pull on her jacket, apparently she was going with or without me.

"Eurgh, fine." I said with a huff as I followed her out the door.

***LATER***

We probably should have thought this through a little more than we did. We walked in giggling to realise we were being watched; our not-so-friendly class mates were squashed around a too-small table in the corner of the room, sending us death glares as we walked by.

"Hello, what would you like?" Said an unenthusiastic staff member, waiting for us with a look of impatience written in her face.

Allison ordered us each some chicken nuggets, chips, smoothie and McFlurry (obviously) before we headed to a cute little table as far away from the others as possible without actually leaving.

"He's kissing Kathryn isn't he? Wait, don't tell me. But he is, isn't he? I know it!" Ally worried aloud for the hundredth time since we'd sat down.

I tried to look over at them subtly and saw that Cam was in fact not lip locking with Kathryn.

"No, Al, he's not kissing her, calm down." I said, glancing at her quickly and then back at the table again.

Bad decision.

"Yep, Cameron is definitely not, Nash, however, seems to be enjoying Mahogany's lips more than his cheese burger." I told her, dropping the chip I'd been about to eat; it didn't seem as appealing anymore.

"Ew, who would wanna kiss that tramp? You don't know where her mouths been!" Ally said in complete disgust, making me laugh.

I looked at them again - I know, I'm an idiot, I couldn't stop myself - to find Nash untangling himself from Mahogany and caught me ogling, he simply smirked smugly and wiggled his fingers at me.

I hate him.

Then, just as I was about to turn away, a figure blocked my view.

"Hey, do you mind if I sit down?" Asked a vaguely familiar voice.

"Shawn! Hi! Yes, sure." I stuttered, staring up at him in disbelief. Ally must've been just as shocked because she was staring at him wide eyed and with her mouth hanging open, too.

"Thanks. I think Matts coming over in a second too." Shawn said, taking the seat besides me.

As if on queue, Matt bounced over to us.

"Hello beautifuls!" He sang, sitting down, throwing his legs over me and taking a chip from Ally's hand.

Ally glared at him, "are you trying to starve me?"

"What? From depriving you of one measly chip, you think you're going to crumple from starvation?" Matt asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Yes," Ally replied, moving the box away from him as he tried to swipe another one.

They continued to argue about who deserved the chip as me and Shawn watched, until Shawn shuffled his chair closer to mine and suddenly started talking.

"Look, Lia, I heard about your break up with Nash and I don't know why you did it, but you probably had your reasons and I also heard about what happened today in Life Skills and I just wanted to tell you that he's being a dick to everyone and that even if we're not that close, I'll be there for you if you ever need to me for anything. Okay?"

"Shawn, you're so sweet, thank you so much!" I told him, pulling him into a hug as I spoke.

"Don't mention it. Oh, plus I was thinking, us four," he motioned to Matt and Ally, "could go out some time, maybe Universal studious? It could be fun?"

"Yeah, definatley!" I agreed, "just message me when and I'll be there." I told him smiling, then I realised, "wait, do you have my number?"

"Er, no, I don't think so."

"Oh, pass me your phone then and I'll write it in." I told him, then I added my number to his contacts under 'Lia' with as many hearts as I could before he realised what I was doing and wrestled the device from my grip.

"You better not delete all of them!" I joked, watched as he tapped away at the back space button.

"I'll keep one, okay?" He laughed.

"Deal."

"Shawn! Matt! C'mon we're going to the gym now." Nash shouted, looking murderous.

"One sec!" Matt called, jumping over the table and walking backwards so that he could wave as he walked away.

"Shawn, now. Or we'll just go without you." Nash spat, still killing Shawn with his eyes, but Shawn was completely oblivious as he showed me my name with one heart in his contacts and grinned before running off to join the boys.

I turned back to Allison, still smiling, to find her looking at me strangely.

"What?" I asked, shifting uncomfortably from the intensity of her gaze.

"Hmm, you've just given me and idea." She said, grinning.
