"Wake up!" I screamed, jumping onto Ally who was lying on the bed with one leg and one arm hanging of.

She groaned as I landed on top of her and sent us both tumbling of the bed.

"Why? Why would you do that? I thought you liked me?" She muttered, curling up in a ball on the floor and yanking the covers from underneath me so she could pull them over herself.

"Aw baby, you wanna go back to sleep?" I teased in a baby voice.

She opened one eye slightly and glared at me, "I do, but you're not gonna let me are you?"

"Nope!" I relied, jumping up and pulling her with me, "Zoe made us croissants and French toast and French baguettes with French cheese so hurry you're butt out of bed so we can get going!"

I dragged her through to the kitchen by her hand as she stumbled along behind me.

"Beautiful morning isn't it peach?" Zoe welcomed as we entered the room.

"Is it? Is it really?" Ally muttered, joining me as she hopped onto the kitchen counter.

Zoe laughed and handed us both a steaming plate of French food that was practically falling from the plate.

"This looks so good." I praised, digging into my chocolate croissant.

Ally didn't stop eating to speak but she made a noise of agreement.

We spent the next ten minutes in silence, just enjoying the food which was probably the nicest thing I'd eaten in my entire life.

"Are you done?" Zoe asked, raising her eyebrows at me as I held my stomach and looked at the food longingly.

"I wish I wasn't," I replied, looking at the food that was still half way full, "but I couldn't eat another bite if I tried."

"And trust me, she tried." Ally added, looking as full up as I felt.

"Good! At least I know you'll be going out with a full stomach!" Zoe grinned, taking the plates from us and starting to wash up.

"What do you mean? Where are you going?" Ally asked, both of us grabbing a tea towel to dry up with.

"Well I need to go and find some skiing clothes because I wanted some new ones for my date, but the closest shops about an hour and a half away, so I thought I'd go now and you two can look around and go shopping and things." She explained, "otherwise you'll be stuck indoors all day and I don't want to be the reason why."

I smiled and tried to hide the disappointment that I would have to look around cute French shops knowing that I couldn't buy anything because I hadn't bought my money.

"That sounds so good mum!" Ally said, hugging Zoe from behind, "but are you sure you don't want us to come with you to the shop?"

"No, don't be silly, you're already helping me enough by getting me ready for my dinner date!" Zoe said, waving her hand as if she were shooing away the offer.

"Yeah, seriously, we wouldn't mind." I assured her.

"Nope, you two are going to have fun in Paris okay? Oh, it's nearly eleven! I wanted to leave by half ten! Okay girls, I need to head off, see you later, love you both!" Zoe called, rushing out the door with her necklace jingling as she hurried.

"We love you too!" We replied in unison, smiling at Zoe seeming all flustered.

Ally's mum was pulled open to walk out the door when she stopped and turned around, "oh! I nearly forgot! Here you go," she said, getting out her purse and handing me €200 and handing Ally €300.
