We reached school and I was even more exited for it then the day before. Soul gave me a odd look when I happily ran up the steps. But as soon as we got in the school, I noticed that people were staring at me funny.

Looking at them as I walked I realized I walked straight into Stein. " u-uh...sorry professor ". he nodded " Lord death wants to see you. " I mentally froze, then felt a gentle hand on my shoulder. " come on then, let's see what he wants, Maka, you can stay here and let them know...im sure they will understand. " it was Soul, without giving me time to answer he lead me away.

" S-soul? Why does Lord Death need to see me.. " I asked, trembling slightly. " I dunno, probably because of the witch business " he shrugged. I clung to his shirt sleeve and he chuckled, rubbing my back gently " it will be fine, he won't hurt you. " .

We walked to the death room, past the creepy hanging blades, and finally to Lord Death. I kept holding onto Soul for dear life. " Hiya! How you doing?! " Lord Death turned to face us. " f-fine " I managed to speak. " ahh, (y/n) and Soul. nice to see ya. now (y/n) there is a rumor that you are a witch. is this correct?"

I nodded and felt tears building up. " yes it is Lord Death. I'm sorry. " . " That's ok, I don't have a problem with that. you may stay, but Soul and Maka must take responsibility for anything you do. " he bounced, leaning towards us. " we are fine with that Lord Death. thank you. " Soul smiled a bit.

Lord Death chatted with us a bit more then dismissed us. we were walking to class, actually Soul was. I sat on his shoulders, he didn't seem to mind. We were pretty relieved that Lord Death didn't do anything bad.

" Hey, we're here. " Soul let me get down and held the door open for me. I skipped into class and ignored the stares. Maka gave me a small hug and Soul and I sat down. Stein continued his dissection of a strange animal and I let my mind wander.

' I only got here about four days ago...wow. In that short period of time I guess I have grown pretty close to Soul. I wonder if he knows I like him.. ' my thoughts were then interrupted by lunch. we all headed back to the cafeteria to eat.

We all sat together like last time, and it was much better. no food or metal objects being thrown. And Black*star messed up Kid's symmetry. that was fun to watch.
