As Ni-ki and Yoojung strolled leisurely through a park days later, the soft rustle of leaves and the gentle whisper of the breeze provided a soothing backdrop to their conversation.

Yoojung's curiosity burned bright as she turned to Ni-ki with a question that had been weighing on her mind. "Ni-ki," she began, her voice filled with genuine interest, "I've been wondering about the history of our worlds. Why are Humans and Vampires disconnected? What caused the divide between us?" She recalled what she read in that history book.

Ni-ki's expression grew solemn as he considered her question. "It's pretty tragic," he replied, his voice tinged with regret. "One that stretches back almost a hundred years." He proceeded to recount the story of the special jar that once served as a bridge between the realms of Humans and Vampires. "This jar held power. It was a symbol of unity and understanding, a testament to the bond that once existed between our people."

Yoojung listened intently, her heart heavy with the weight of history's tragedies. "What happened to the jar?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Ni-ki's gaze grew distant, his eyes clouded with memories of a time long gone.

"An enemy of peace sought to destroy it," he replied, his voice tinged with bitterness. "A Vampire who despised Humans. Well, we fixed it, obviously, since I'm here."

Yoojung gasped in disbelief, her eyes widening with shock. "But why would someone do that?"

"Some Vampires harbour deep-seated prejudices against Humans," he explained, his voice heavy with regret. "They see your kind as inferior, unworthy of their respect or compassion."

"And my dad?" Yoojung interjected, her mind racing with questions. "What was his role in all of this?"

"Hyung was crazily affected by the destruction of the jar," he says. "At the time, he was a Vampire, but he was also in love with a Human. The loss of the jar severed the connection between them, leaving him heartbroken and alone."

As the weight of their conversation settled upon them, Yoojung's thoughts turned to the woman who had captured Jungwon's heart so many years ago. Her voice trembled with a mixture of sadness and uncertainty as she posed her question to Ni-ki.

"Ni-ki," she began, her tone heavy with emotion, "that girl he fell in love with wasn't my mother, right?"

"Yes? No? Kinda," he replied carefully. She raises her eyebrows at him. "It's complicated."

He proceeded to explain the intricacies of Jungwon's journey from the Vampire realm to the Human realm, and the sacrifices he made along the way.

"When Jungwon came to the Human realm, many years passed," Ni-ki explained, his voice gentle yet filled with sorrow. "The timelines of our two worlds are different, and time flows differently between them."

Yoojung listened intently, her heart heavy with the weight of their shared history. "So what happened to her?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
