The next day, Ni-ki found himself strolling through the park, the gentle rustle of leaves and the soft chirping of birds providing a soothing backdrop to his thoughts. As he walked, his mind wandered back to the tumultuous emotions that had consumed him in recent days.

Feelings of confusion and uncertainty swirled within him, a tangled web of conflicting emotions that left him feeling adrift in a sea of uncertainty. He couldn't shake the nagging question that had plagued him since that fateful moment in Yoojung's presence – was what he felt for her truly human love?

With each step, Ni-ki found himself retracing the path of their interactions, searching for answers amidst the tangled maze of his thoughts. He couldn't deny the undeniable connection that had formed between them, a bond that transcended the boundaries of their respective worlds.

And yet, even as he grappled with the complexities of his feelings, a part of him remained wary of the unfamiliar territory he was treading.

As Ni-ki continued his stroll through the park, he suddenly stumbled upon Gyuri, who was sitting on a bench beneath the shade of a sprawling oak tree. Startled, he paused in his tracks, uncertain how to proceed. Gyuri looked up from her book, a faint smile playing at the corners of her lips as she greeted him.

"Hey," she said, her voice warm and welcoming. "Lost in thought?"

Ni-ki nodded, a faint blush coloring his cheeks. "Yeah, just trying to make sense of everything," he admitted, his tone tinged with uncertainty.

Gyuri patted the space beside her on the bench, inviting him to join her. "Mind if I join you?" she asked, gesturing to the empty seat beside her.

Ni-ki hesitated for a moment before nodding gratefully, settling onto the bench beside Gyuri. As they sat together in companionable silence, the gentle rustle of leaves and the distant hum of the city provided a calming backdrop to their conversation.

As they sat together on the bench, Gyuri glanced at Ni-ki, sensing the weight of his thoughts. "You've been worried about Yoojung, haven't you?" she ventured, her voice gentle.

"I guess you could say that," he laughed, his gaze distant as he thought about Yoojung's recent struggles.

Gyuri chuckles. "She's been through a lot lately," she acknowledged, her tone tinged with empathy. "But she's strong, you know. She'll get through this."

"She's really unlucky," he sighed, his tone heavy with concern.

Gyuri chuckled softly. "Literally. Remember the day of the natural disaster? If I remember correctly, she sort of got hit by a car," she recounted, trying to lighten the mood.

His expression shifted instantly. "What?" he exclaimed, his worry deepening.

"Yeah, but it wasn't a big deal. Just a little bump—" Gyuri's words trailed off as she watched him abruptly spring to his feet. "Wait, where are you going?" she called after him, her voice tinged with confusion.
