Ni-ki sat at the edge of the table, observing his friends with a curious expression. While they poured over textbooks and scribbled notes, he found himself fascinated by their dedication to their studies. Being from the Vampire realm, where formal education was quite different, he couldn't help but observe the differences.

He did go to Human school for a period time, but he barely attended. In fact, he never bothered to go to any kind of school, not even the one at the Vampire realm.

Nonetheless, Ni-ki couldn't help but marvel at the Human pursuit of knowledge.

As Yoojung, Gyuri, and Zaire delved into their studies with focused determination, Ni-ki's gaze flitted from one to the other, taking in their expressions of concentration and occasional moments of frustration. He listened intently as they discussed various topics, occasionally asking questions to better understand the intricacies of Human education.

As weeks passed, Ni-ki found himself growing closer to Zaire and Gyuri, Yoojung's companions. Initially distant due to their differences in origin and experiences, they gradually bonded.

Through these interactions, Ni-ki gained a deeper understanding of Humans' dynamics and formed meaningful relationships beyond his initial reservations.

Though many joyful memories were created, as more weeks had passed by, the looming shadow of damnatio memoriae grew ever closer.

Yoojung, who was trying her best to study, found herself struggling with a mixture of emotions, from sadness and resignation to defiance and determination.

In the face of impending damnation, she clung to everything she loved tightly, finding solace and strength in her friendships and schoolwork. With the days ticking away relentlessly, she resolved to listening to Ni-kim's advice in making the most of the time she had left, cherishing each moment and creating memories that would endure long after she was gone.

As she was lost in thought, Ni-ki observed her demeanor, noticing a hint of fear lurking beneath her facade of composure. Despite her efforts to conceal it, he could sense the unease radiating from her.

After a while, she noticed his stare and suddenly felt uncomfortable.

"Hey, I'm going to take a break. I'll be back." As he excused herself, Ni-ki watched her depart with a faint sense of concern tugging at his thoughts.

"Is she okay?" Gyuri asked. "She hasn't been herself lately, and I've been noticing this. I was hoping that all the hangouts we've been doing would help her open up to me, but somehow, the more I'm with her, the more she confuses me."

Ni-ki glanced at Gyuri, his concern mirrored in her eyes. Ni-ki shifted uncomfortably, his nerves getting the better of him as Gyuri's probing gaze bore into him. She shouldn't know about our mission, he thought to himself. "Yeah, she's just been stressed lately," he improvised, his voice sounding strained. "You know how it is with exams and everything."
