"How did you sleep last night?"
Reich looked up at the Russian, he shrugged, "I slept fine, how about you?"
"Good. So you said JE has been giving you a lift to work?"
Reich nodded as the two walked down the work building's boring hallway. "Yeah, she's fine with doing it until I get my car back and running." Soviet nodded.
The two countries continue to chat until another country suddenly ran in front of them. "You two." The two red countries looked at the blue one. It was the United Kingdom himself. "Have you seen any of the Northern Sea workers lately?"
Reich looked confused and concerned, this wasn't the first time someone had asked about them. Soviet stayed stone faced. "Uh, no I haven't seen them. Not sure where they went really.."
The tea drinker nodded, "It went from one, to two, to all three of them ignoring our calls. It's almost like they disappeared or something."
"Weird." Soviet added in.
"Yeah.. I haven't gotten anything from them at all. But I'll tell you if I do." Reich said, Soviet nodded in agreement.
"Alright. Thank you then, just keep an out for yourself. Anything could be going on, even if it's just a cold or something." He nodded. "Carry on then." The blue country walked away, holding his head so high that his hat nearly fell off.
The two continued down the hall quietly. "I don't know..." Soviet looked at the German. "It is kinda weird isn't it?" The German glanced at the Russian. "I mean they just kinda disappeared."
Soviet hummed. "Don't worry about it Reich. I'm sure it's just some personal thing between them." The German nodded. The two eventually reached a door and stopped.
Soviet opened the door for the German, but put a hand on the other's shoulder before he went in. He looked concerned seeing the German's worried face. "Reichie, don't worry about it. I'll protect you if anything happens, okay?"
Reich gave him a sad smile and nodded. "Okay Soviet, but I'm holding you to that promise."
The German walked into the room, and Soviet followed.
The day went on slowly. Eventually Reich and Soviet separated as they had their own work to do.
Though Soviet left unwillingly, and continuously begged the German to let him stay with him. But Reich turned him down, simple saying they could hang out that.
But that didn't stop someone else from popping into his day.
"Hey Reich, you got a pen?"
Reich looked up at Belgium and gave him an unimpressed look. "Is that the best excuse you could come up with to talk to me?"
The taller country winked, "Maybe." Reich rolled his eyes and handed him a pen. "Thanks sweetheart." The German shook his head and went back to his own paperwork.
Only a couple minutes passed before Belgium spoke up again. He poked the German's head with the pen, "What's up with you."
Reich raised an eyebrow at him, "Someone as pretty as you shouldn't be looking so stressed."
Reich was surprised by the other observation and quickly changed his expression. "It's nothing Belgium."
The man gasped, "You are practically begging me to let you speak. So go on.. speak." Reich gave the other an awkward look, he wasn't a dog.. "Go onnn, say what's on your mind."
Reich looked at the floor, he wasn't a big fan of the other country, but he could use someone to rant to. "It's just, all the rumors lately.."
The other hummed and nodded. "It's just kinda weird that the whole Northern Sea district would just disappear like that-"
