Reich couldn't really remember what happened once he finally left wherever he was.

He had a hard time putting everything together. He knew he went to the police station, he knew he was at a hospital at the moment, but the whole transition was just a blur.

The doctor people wanted to look at every injury he had. His foot healed improperly apparently, so now he had to get the bone re-broken so it could be moved and be re-healed correctly. He wasn't looking forward to that.

His hand was all sorts of messed up. And would need a lot of care and overall help. But they did manage to take his rings off of his finger somehow. He wasn't sure how, but they where off. His ears were also infected, and he was quickly given antibiotics for that.

He was also told that he had a concussion, and that he wouldn't be allowed to leave the hospital, as it was quite dangerous for him to be doing anything at the moment.

The German practically ignored everything else they told them. He didn't want to hear about anything else. He wasn't allowed visitors for the first couple of days.

But that didn't bother him, as the first couple of days went by quickly. The German was still quite confused about everything, he couldn't understand exactly what was going on, or where he was, or whatever.

It was hard for him to sleep at night, as he waited, staring at the hospital room's door, waiting for Soviet to break it open, and steal him once again.

Nurses volunteered to stay in the room with him at night, to hopefully calm him down if he ever started panicking, which was often actually. And to reassure him that it was okay to sleep when night hit, or at any time really.

Thought that didn't help the German sleep, and at this point he just pretended to sleep so people would leave him alone.

He would see doctors often, annoyingly often. Now they wanted him to schedule an appointment to break his foot again, they kept on pushing him to it. Saying something like, he needed to get it fix as soon as possible before it permanently affected his ability to walk.

And with some tests done on his hand, he's learned that he will start to lose some feeling in his fingers, which has apparently already started, and the ability to move them. His hand will overall become harder to use. But the worst that could happen is that his entire hand could become numb and dead, to which they would remove the entire thing since it would just be dead weight and no use to him.

Though the German didn't want to think about that, as his scarred and twisted hand was hard enough to look at. He didn't need to know what was going on inside of it.

All this eagerness to get tests done and things planned was driving him insane. He had enough going on in his mind, he didn't need these doctors to give him more things to think about.

When one thing was wrong with him, there was another thing wrong, and then another thing, and another thing, and another-

He was exhausted, and completely drained. Sleep deprived, and constantly worrying that that stupid Russian would show up to hurt him again.

He hadn't heard anything about the Soviet, nothing at all. He really wasn't sure what was going on, and was feeling more and more desperate everyday to get out of this stupid place.

Though today seemed a bit different than other days. As he was sitting in his little bed, covered in white blankets, the door to his room opened, revealing two very worried looking countries.

FI suddenly stuck his head into the room, searching the place with his eyes for a moment. "Reich?" He whispered, "Are you asleep?"

The German turned to look at him, blinking at the Italian for a moment, he had nothing to say. He felt shameful for a moment, though he wasn't really sure why, and quickly hid himself under the blankets.
