Soviet yawned tiredly as he walked out of his room. A smile appeared on his face as he could smell a sweet aroma coming from the kitchen.
He made his way over there, admiring all the family photos that were hanging on the walls as he did.
Eventually he turned into the kitchen and was greeted by a wonderfully clean and decorated room. The place almost sparkled as it's pastel colors blended together nicely.
The Russian felt at peace, nothing could ruin the wonderful day ahead of him.
His smile brightened as he saw a little red country almost hiding next to the stove.
Soviet walked into the room and held himself over the marble island. "Good morning love."
The little German turned around and smiled back at him. "Good morning Soviet!" The German was hold a white cake that was decorated with little strawberries. His apron has some light flour stains on it.
The German placed the cake on the counter and ran over to the Russian. Ignoring all the food on the stove, he hugged the tall man, and stuffed his face into the other's chest.
Soviet hugged him back and the two cuddled for a moment. Until the smaller country suddenly pulled away.
Soviet was confused for a moment but was wonderfully surprised when he suddenly felt the other's lips on his, in a small, yet passionate kiss.
The German soon pulled away and smiled at him. "How is breakfast going?" The Russian asked.
Reich glanced at the stove. "It's going great!" He giggled. Soviet smiled back at him.
"How are the kids?" Soviet nodded to the side, referring to the stairs, as it led to the children's bedrooms.
Reich nodded back to him, "They're getting ready for school! They'll be down soon!"
Soviet hummed and glanced down at the German belly, which had grown a small bump. "And how's this little kid doing?"
Soviet gently rubbed the other's stomach. Reich giggled and pushed him away gently, yet still kept him close. "They are wonderful!" Reich smiled, "I can't wait to meet them!"
Soviet beamed, "I can't wait to meet them too. I'm sure they'll look just like you."
Reich laughed, "Soviiii, they'll look like both of us." The German pulled the other into a short kiss once more. "I mean.. we did make them together." He giggled and blushed.
Soviet laughed too and pulled the German into another loving kiss until he heard his kids coming down for breakfast. His life couldn't get any better than this-
Soviet smiled as he rolled around in his bed, holding a pillow in his arms. He blinked- what, what happened?
He looked down at the pillow he was holding... was that all a dream? Was he- was he kissing his pillow?
Soviet grumbled and threw the pillow across the room. He watched it hit the wall and slide down to the floor. He crossed his arms and huffed.
Soviet was a bit mad, this dream of his had ruined his mood. It was just another reminder of what he didn't have. And now he would spend the whole day grumpy.
But he was still pretty productive besides that.
He had a lot of work to do like always. But today he decided to focus on his kids.
Making sure they had everything they needed and that everyone was doing fine. Russia was getting his driver's license soon, and that was absolutely terrifying.
