Inabutan ni Narda ng kape ang tulalang si Colet. Kasalukuyan silang nakaupo sa isang bench sa labas ng ospital. Papalubog na ang araw sa gawi nila. Kapwa silang tahimik na sumisimsim ng mainit na kape.
'Salamat po Doc Custodio', nahihiyang salita nito.
'We're outside the hospital Colet. You can call me Narda for the meantime. And please drop the 'po' nakakatanda', nakangiting saad niya.
'Pasensya na kayo sa nangyari kanina. Hindi ko kasi alam na susunod pala si Mommy dito', kamot ulong salita niya.
'Nangyari na ang nangyari Colet, hindi na natin mababawi.
'Na-excite lang siguro kanina nung nakita niya si Doc V', nakayuko nitong sabi. 'It's been years since she last saw her.

'14 years old ako non ng malaman ko na i have siblings with Mommy. We're currently based in Hongkong so hindi ko alam na may unang pamilya pala siya. Basta na lang dinala niya ako sa isang bahay and introduce me kila Kuya. I didn't even know na i have a sister until she came home. I saw her eyes shining in happiness when she saw our Mom', Colet was smiling while telling the story. From that moment hindi na excited si Ate kapag umuuwi kami at dumadalaw sa kanila. Palagi siyang may dahilan kahit ipilit ni Mommy na kasama siya sa mga lakad namin hindi mo siya mararamdaman. She totally build her walls around us. Sila Kuya lang ang kinakausap niya pero she didn't disrepected my Dad', she smiled again. 'No one from their family shows any disrespectful traits which i am glad. Kaya lang kahit gusto siyang makita ni Mommy eh hindi talaga niya kaya. I know nalulungkot si Mommy pero sabi ko sa kanya wag na niyang pilitin.
'Did you intentionally worked here? Narda asked.
'No Doc. I don't even know that she's working here. But i do know na she's a doctor. Sinubaybayan ko ba naman ang buhay ni Ate eh', she chuckled. 'So pressured to know who she is kasi palaging bukambibig ng Mommy', she smiled sadly. 'As if i am living on her shadows kahit hindi ko naman siya kasama.
'Is it your choice to be a doctor?, she asked again.
'At first i was pressured, pero eventually nagustuhan ko na din. I am looking forward to witness my sister inside the OR. So i was studying hard back in med school and pass my exam.
'How do you get in here?
'Jhoanna and Stacey was my classmate. We applied the program here without even knowing that my sister is currently working here. Two weeks na ata bago ko nalaman na andito din siya.
'You must be surprise then', Narda said while sipping her coffee.
