WAKING UP on Saturday morning at 10:00 am, I felt a surge of excitement knowing that today was our second date with Zay. I quickly recalled the details of our first date as I shared them with the girls yesterday, reliving the moments where he opened up a little more.
With our date scheduled for 12:30 pm, I knew I had to start getting ready soon. The anticipation of how today would unfold filled me with excitement, and I couldn't wait to see where our connection would lead. Time to prepare for another memorable day.
For once, I found myself ready earlier than expected. Seizing the opportunity, I snapped some selfies and shared them on my story. It felt good to be ahead of schedule for a change.

It was currently 12:00 pm, so I decided to pass the time by scrolling through social media until Zay texted that he was outside to pick me up. Zay and I have really bonded since Wednesday, and yesterday we were on the phone together all day. We talked for five hours straight, but it didn't even feel like five. So I'm excited for this day. Everything was going well until my dad texted me.
I sighed to myself, wondering what my dad wanted to talk about. Did he know about Zay? Was there some kind of trouble? Or maybe Ja'zai said something to him? I didn't want to dwell on it, so I distracted myself by scrolling through social media.
