"Zavier, come put ya shoes on," Jade fussed, hands on her hips, watchin' as her son ran around the house.
"I'm comin'!" Zavier shouted, little feet pitter-pattering on the hardwood floor.
"Zavier, stop runnin'!" Zayvior said, side-eyeing his son with a smirk, like he already knew it was pointless to try.
"Sorry," Zavier muttered, comin' to a slow walk as Jade crouched down to help him with his sneakers.
"Where y'all backpacks at?" Jade asked, glancin' between the four-year-old twins.
"I got 'em, Mama," Zaelan answered proudly, holdin' up both backpacks like a little soldier.
"Okay, let's roll out," Jade said, usherin' the boys to follow Zayvior as he made his way to the driveway where their black Range Rover Sport D250 S Edition was parked.
As they approached the car, they saw Tray and Kailany steppin' out of their house across the street.
"AUNTIE! UNCLE! GOOD MORNIN'!" Zaelan shouted, waving from the car.
Kailany walked over, kissin' Zaelan on his cheek. "Good mornin', baby."
"Where y'all headin'?" Zayvior asked, helpin' Jade load the boys into their car seats.
"I'm headin' to the bowling alley and arcade, just checkin' things before we open at 11:30. She's goin' to help your indecisive fiancée with the weddin' plans," Tray teased, throwin' a playful look at Jade.
"Oh, shut up, I'm just excited," Jade shot back, rollin' her eyes with a grin.
Zayvior and Jade were gettin' married in five months. He proposed four months ago, knowin' in his heart that Jade was his soulmate. Now, he couldn't wait to tie the knot and make her his forever.
"Alright, we gotta bounce. We droppin' the twins off at school," Zayvior said, dappin' up Tray.
"Have a good day at school, boys!" Kailany said, wavin' as they buckled in.
Once the kids were secured, Zayvior walked around to the passenger side, openin' the door for Jade like a true gentleman. "Thanks, babe," she said, settlin' into the seat.
As Zayvior got behind the wheel, he connected his phone to the aux, and the smooth sound of "Dilemma" by Nelly and Kelly Rowland filled the car. Jade smiled, hummin' along as they cruised through the peaceful streets, the city slowly disappearin' in the rearview.
After a good 15 minutes, they pulled up to the twins' school. Jade and Zayvior unbuckled the boys, and the twins gave their parents big hugs before runnin' off to class.
Just as they were about to leave, they heard a little voice callin' out. "Hi, Uncle Zay! Hi, Auntie!" It was Zaveah, Ja'zai and Soraya's daughter, beamin' at them with her backpack hangin' low.
