Raven returned home to the Malacañang after a long and tiring journey, and was immediately greeted by his mother upon his arrival. The sight of his mother quickly brought a sense of comfort and familiarity, while Hunt on the other hand, was soon called to the presence of his father, leaving Raven behind.
"Anak, how was the island? Did you enjoy?" Tanong ng ina matapos siyang hangkan sa pisnge.
"I did, Mom. Sana nakapunta rin kayo."
"I was so busy, anak. Madalang nalang nga matulog ang daddy mo ng maayos." Nag-aalalang sambit ng ina. "But he's still doing a good job at work."
"Of course he is, mom."
"Nga pala, anak, where is Hunt? Hindi ba kayo sabay umuwi?"
"Hinatid niya lang ako tapos pinatawag kaagad ni daddy." Raven sighed, "give the man a rest."
His mother chuckled, "hinihintay kasi ito ng daddy mo, may mga lakad ata sila."
"Well, there's nothing we can do, Mom." Napahikab siya, "usap tayo mamaya, ma, tulog muna ako. Napagod ako sa byahe."
"Oh, sure, sure." His mother hugged him, patting his back, "matulog kana, gisingin kita if maghahapunan na, okay?"
"I bought souvenirs, mamaya ko ibibigay, okay?"
Tumango bilang sagot ang at ina bago tumalikod si Raven at umakyat ng silid. Ravens arms and legs felt weak as he laid down on his bed, his breathing still labored from the long journey to and from his vacation. The soft bedding felt like a luxurious cloud beneath him, and he exhaled deeply at the relief of finally being home.
With no further pressing obligations to attend to, he allowed his mind to unwind and his eyes to fall shut.
Pero bago paman siya tuluyang makatulog, sunod-sunod na tumunog ang telepono niyang nasa bulsa.
Kinuha niya ito at binuksan. Napairap siya nang tama ang hinala niyang si Sev lang naman ang dahilan nito.
Halos singkwenta ang mensahi nitong hindi pa nabubuksan noong nasa bakasyon pa siya.
Sev: Ray! Ano na? Any update?
Kumunot ang noo niya. Update saan?
Sev: Did you reject them? 🤪

Sev: RAVEN PANSININ MO AKO!

Binasa niya naman ang mga messages nito sa mga sumunod na araw.

Sev: Raven! Pansinin mo ako!
Sev: Hey bro, okay kalang ba diyan? Nag-aalala na ako.
Sev: Well, nandiyan naman si Hunt, I guess you're fine.
Sev: Masaya ba diyan? Tell me what you guys did?
Raven licked his lower lip and stifled a smile. Nag tipa ito ng reply sa mensaheng iyon.
Raven: Marami kaming ginawang masaya.
Binasa niya lahat ng walang kwentang mensahi nito at napabuntong hininga. Inaantok niyang papatayin sana ang telepono nang may mahagip siyang isang mensahi galing sa hindi kilalang numero.
