The hospital room was a blur of beeping machines, sterile smells, and fluorescent lights. Hunt's gaze drifted to the clock on the wall, its digital display taunting him with the passage of time.

He had no idea how many days had passed since that incident. Para siyang sirang robot na namumuhay ng walang malay.

Kahit na si Cameron na bantay niya ay napansin ang sobrang pagiging tahimik nito. Even after hearing the news that Axel woke up and is okay, Hunt didn't have much reaction.

As he lay there, his mind felt like a desolate wasteland. The memories of that fateful night replayed themselves over and over, like a cruel loop in his head. His thoughts turned to Raven, and his chest constricted with a fresh wave of longing.

Is he safe? That's the only question he had been asking himself.

Hunt was left with no information regarding Raven's whereabouts. He had no one to ask for help, as both the president and his wife went to a different country alongside him.

He was completely in the dark about Raven's condition and it is slowly killing him.

Several weeks went by and Hunt was finally discharged from the hospital. He was instructed to rest and recuperate, but he was determined to pay a visit to the president at the Malacañang Palace who had just returned home.

Hunt burst into the President's office, his footsteps echoing through the silent room. The President, seated behind his desk, looked up in surprise as Hunt strode in without knocking.

"Hunt," Bati nito. "Akala ko ba nagpapahinga ka? You're not supposed to be back here yet."

"Sir." Bati ni Hunt pabalik. "I came because I would like to ask about Raven's condition, sir."

The President sighed, his expression somber. "Raven is currently at a secure facility in Germany. He's receiving treatment for his condition."

Napalunok si Hunt ng sariling laway, "How is he, sir?"

"Well, aside from him losing all his memories, he's physically doing well." Napasandal ang presidente sa kanyang upuan, "Hindi niya pinagkakatiwalaan ang mga tao, kayaga ng mama niya, kasi ni isang bagay ay wala siyang maalala."

The thought of Raven being scared and confused as a result of losing his memories caused a sense of agony to swell within Hunt's chest. The suffering he must have endured upon waking to find himself alone and surrounded by people he didn't know must have been insurmountable.

The pain of not being able to help him and comfort her haunted him.

"When is he coming back, sir?" The question left Hunt's mouth without his realization.

The president reflected on the situation for a few moments before responding, "You know, Hunt, I've been thinking about this myself. Maybe it would be best to let him stay there for a while. He's been through a lot, and I think it's a good call to just give him time to adjust."

Hunt felt his heart sink at the sound of the president's response. He wanted nothing more than to have Raven back by his side, but it seemed that it wouldn't be happening any time soon.

"I understand, sir." Mahina niyang sabi.

Tumango-tango ang presidente, "I don't want him to stress anymore."
