"Jazzy how'd you even manage to get us into a place like this!" I say just loud enough allowing her to hear me over the music.
"I know a couple guys!" She smiled.
"Do you want to get a drink?" She asked.
I nod now following her. This place was huge there had to be at least thousands of people here. I had never been to an event like this and it was new to me as for jazzy this didn't seem like her first time.
"I'll take two salt air margaritas and make one with extra lime!" She tapped the counter.
"You got it baby." He smiles winking at her.
"Now you know I'm not a heavy drinker." I warned.
"You sound like my mother." She groaned.
"Do you know where we are? Loosen up a little bit have some fun!" She smiled.
"I suppose so." I smiled.
"Two salt airs." The bartender smiled.
"This one's of the house." He winked at jazzy.
I heave her a teasing smile, "That's Marvin." She admit with a smile forming at the corner of her lips.
"Seems like you two know each other well." I nudged her.
"We fucked a few times- although none that I can remember." She shrugged.
Told you she was a wild one, I was never surprised when she told me things like this.TMI never existed in our friendship.
I smile now grabbing my drink, "Let's make a toast." She tapped my hand lightly.
"Okay." I nod now holding my drink.
"I would like to make this toast to you." She began.
"Really?" I squint my eyes slightly.
"You've been the sister I've never had but always wanted, I wanted to thank you for being by my side even when you didn't have to. With that being said to friendship." She smiled.
"To friendship." I smiled now clinging my drink with hers.
Let's shake it up baby, now shake it up baby.
A familiar tune filled the air causing me to nearly spill my drink, "I love this song!" Jazzy squealed.
"C'mon let's dance!" She snatched my cup out of my hand placing it on the bar.
"You know I'm not much of a dancer either!" I groaned as she snatched my hand pulling me with her.
We found some sort of empty slot on the dance floor. All of our sweaty bodies found its way to each other, it's crazy how one song can make you connect to everyone and everything else around you.
