I always have many roads to travel, but I take the one which leads to you.

THIRD PERSON'S POV
Saumaya came back from school with many polybags in her hand which had loads of flowers, cards, and small gifts in. Aastha saw this and frowned with surprise.
"What is all this Gudiya?"
"Students Maa. Somehow they knew it was my last day and hence so many gifts." Aastha chuckled and looked at the cards written by Saumaya's students and every card had one thing in common - "I will Miss you Mam."
And again the realisation hit her that her daughter is here for just two more weeks. And after that she will go to her another home, to fill that home with her smile and shine. And thinking all this she didn't realised when tears welled up in her eyes until she heard Saumaya's concerned voice.
"Maa? What happen? Why are you crying?" Aastha wiped her tears and shook her head in no and caressed Saumaya's cheeks lovingly.
"Nothing bache, I was just thinking you grew up so fast, nai?" Saumaya knew why her mother was emotional all of a sudden and she felt her throat clogging too. Only she knows how every night she makes herself understand that she isn't leaving her family forever. But she also knows that things can never be the same forever.
Controlling her emotions Saumaya just hugged her mother who hugged her back and looked at her late husband's photo frame before smiling with tears.
They broke the hug as Aastha's phone rang and it was Savitri Mehrotra-- Rudraksh's grandmother so she hurriedly picked up the call. At the same time, Saumaya's phone rang too and it was Simran so she moved into her room to talk with her.
Simran told her that she would be coming to Delhi tomorrow with Vidyut and Saumaya was relieved. She was actually feeling jittery and many more with her wedding coming around and she really needed her best friend at this time. Talking with Simran for half an hour Saumaya moved into washroom to change her clothes and moved out in the living area where she saw her mother and siblings sitting. She frowned seeing her mother's tensed face and Aayush's and Adhira's irritated face.
"What happen Maa? Is- everything okay?" Aastha looked at Saumaya and faked a smile and signalled something to the twins who faked smile too.
"Yes Gudiya, everything is fine. These two- they're again arguing over nothing, am so done with them."
Saumaya narrowed her gaze while the twins gave a sheepish look to her. Although she didn't believed what her mother said but before she could enquire further the doorbell rang and Saumaya went to open the door and it were their neighbours who had came to talk with Aastha and told her that if they need any support from them, then they're here as Saumaya is like a daughter for them too.
They felt blessed to have such neighbours and were grateful of them. After sometime they left and Saumaya and Adhira moved into the kitchen to prepare dinner while Aayush went to market for some work and Aastha sat up making the guests list as they've to start with card distribution too.
And after dinner they again sat in the living area discussing about all the pending works and the expenditure.
"Aayu tomorrow take me to bank too." Aastha said and Saumaya who was doing some calculation frowned.
