THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Ki hoya Sohneyo?"

(What happen Sweetheart?)

Rudraksh's tender voice reached Saumaya's ears before he snaked his hand around her neck, as she stood in the balcony looking at the beautiful sky where clouds had his the sun behind them, but even the calm and peaceful view wasn't doing anything to keep her out of her sadness.

Rudraksh sighed when Saumaya shook her head in answer and looked down, fiddling with her stole which was wrapped around her as the weather was a bit windy.

He unwrapped his hand from her and gently turned her around caging her between the railing and him. He tipped her chin up with his thumb and index finger and smiled at her adorable face.

Saumaya looked into his eyes and frowned when saw him smiling and made a whiny face which made him chuckle only. She huffed and looked sideways and Rudraksh again smiled before dipping his face into her neck, inhaling his favourite fragrance making goosebumps arise on Saumaya's body and she clutched the stole and closed her eyes. But then she remembered that she was angry at him, so she opened her eyes and pushed him lightly before escaping his hold and moved inside the room.

Rudraksh closed his eyes tightly and looked at the sky as if asking answers from the god and sighed before following his wife who was now sitting on the bed gulping down her medicine.

Saumaya noticed him looking at her, and she made sure to gulp down her medicine and kept the glass on the table with a force, just to emphasize her annoyance. Still, she said nothing.

Rudraksh raised an eyebrow, leaning against the doorframe with a knowing look on his face. "Silent treatment, huh?" he mumbled to himself, watching as she wiped her mouth, avoiding his gaze.

Without saying another word, she picked up the blanket lying next to her and threw it over her legs, adjusting herself comfortably on the bed, before picking up the book she is reading recently. Rudraksh walked up to her, squatting beside the bed, his face tilted upward like an eager puppy looking for attention, only to get ignored by his wife.

"Thoda galat ho gaya na?" He said softly, eyes playful but warm. "Come on, you can’t be this mad yaar Mithiye!!"

(Did a bit wrong, no?)

Saumaya flicked her eyes toward him briefly before returning her focus on the book, although she was doing anything but reading. Her lips pressed together in a thin line, making it clear that she wasn’t ready to let this go just yet.

Rudraksh let out a small chuckle, knowing full well that she wasn’t going to crack easily. He stood up, brushing his hand through his hair, trying to think of a way to break her silence. He eyed the glass of water on her nightstand and, with a sly grin, picked it up.

Without warning, he pretended to took a small sip and then, as casually as he could, dipped his fingers into the water and flicked it toward her.

The first drop landed on her arm, and Saumaya’s eyes snapped toward him, narrowing into a glare. But still, not a word escaped her lips.

Rudraksh bit back a smile. "Okay, okay. A little water never hurt anyone, right?" He raised his hand as if surrendering, but then quickly flicked a few more drops her way, this time aiming for her cheek.
