[I'll prefer to not eat sweets before reading, dibaties ke chances badh sakte hai]

[A suggestion-- play Shreya Ghosal's part of the song "Agar Main Kahoon" where I mentioned this song]

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"And--- we are done, oh my god, you look so stunning Bhabhi!!" Mayesha exclaimed as she finished applying eye liner in Saumaya's eyes, enhancing its beauty, and shifted herself away from the mirror to let her look at herself.

And to say Saumaya was surprised with her look would be an understatement. She stared back at her reflection, her fingers absentmindedly brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

The deep red velvet gown hugged her in all the right places, its soft fabric whispering elegance against her skin. Thin straps framed her shoulders, exposing her collarbones in a way that felt both vulnerable and beautiful, while the skirt flared gently, skimming her ankles with each subtle shift of movement.

Over the gown, she had draped an oversized cream cardigan—its warmth comforting, its softness like a protective shield for the evening ahead, which she still doesn't know that what is it holding onto for her.

Her hair, swept up into a loose, romantic updo, had a few tendrils cascading down to frame her face. The messy, effortless style reflected the quiet chaos in her heart.

The pearl necklace sat delicately at her throat, catching the light in a subtle gleam, while her eyes, though faintly rimmed with tiredness, sparkled with determination. She wasn’t sure what was more fragile in this moment—the layers of fabric that adorned her, or the emotions swirling inside her chest.

"Someone please call the ambulance, Jeeju would need it!" Adhira chirped as she also looked at her sister who was looking so beautiful.

She looked genuinely happy for her sister, because she was finally doing things, which she couldn't do while caring for them. But she couldn't help but wander that if she had also taken care of her sister like her sister did for them, maybe today she would've been completely fit and fine.

Shaking her thoughts she looked at her sister who called her near her and she was surprised when Saumaya hugged her, as if she knew that she needed this, and her eyes too welled up as she hugged back her sister.

Saumaya smiled while caressing her little sister's head and broke the hug after a few seconds as she saw her blinking away her tears, but she didn't said anything.

"Okay okay, let's go downstairs now, before Bhai himself barge in the room." Aarushi chuckled to lighten the mood which made everyone smile at her efforts and they nodded.

As the girls were stepping towards the door, the door itself opened and they looked above to see Rudraksh standing there-- still.

His eyes admired his wife as they traveled from her head to toe and then retracing the path and ended up looking into her beautiful eyes, which were shining.

The affect his wife have on him even after ten months of their marriage is unreal. And he was sure, it would be same even after fifty years with her.

Adhira, Mayesha and Aarushi signaled to each other and silently took their leave, leaving behind the couple who was already too lost in themselves to notice their absence.
