THIRD PERSON'S POV

"All the best bache. I know you will for sure top the exam, just don't get nervous, yeah?"

Saumaya smiled at Radhika as she fed her dahi cheeni for good luck, as today she is going to give her UGC NET exam, a step towards her dream. Although she was prepared good, but still was feeling nervous. But seeing the confidence of her family in her, she was getting her confidence back too.

"All the best beta, do well and we will go out for dinner today, my treat." Saumaya grinned at Anmol and he lovingly patted her head. Gautam and Shivani too wished her good luck followed by Mayesha.

"Bhabhi, write the exam from this pen, this is my lucky one." Saumaya chuckled and took the pen from Mayesha while others smiled.

"Isn't this that pen, jisse tune apna college entrance exam likha tha and fail ho gayi thi?" Rudraksh teased Mayesha making him punch his arm and everyone laughed.

(Isn't it that pen by which you wrote your college entrance exam and you failed?)

"Bade Papa, see him." Mayesha whined and Anmol took her in a side hug before glaring at Rudraksh.

"Rudra, don't tease my Princess."

Mayesha grinned and Rudraksh chuckled before taking her in a side hug and kisses her temple making her and everyone smile at the two.

"Okay now, Rudra you should take Saumaya, otherwise would be late." Gautam declares looking at his watch and Rudraksh nodded.

He wrapped his hand around Saumaya's shoulder not before making sure that he isn't hurting her hair and waved a bye to everyone.

During the drive, Rudraksh could see that she was nervous for how she was fiddling with her kurti. He sighed and took her hand in his, keeping it on the gear and kept his above.

Saumaya looked at him and then at their hands before exhaling a deep breath. She knew that she has prepared well, but the fear of not being able to stand upon her family's expectations, her husband's expectations, was making her anxious.

In these months of her preparation, her whole family has supported her, more than that her husband. He had literally bought subscription of almost all the trusted test series for her. He had always boosted her confidence, and infact in the last one month, has stayed awake till late with her even after being tired himself.

Moreover, he himself had studied previous years questions, just to help her in preparation and would ask her them at random timings to save her time.

And hence, more than the fear of failing the exam, she was afraid to fail her husband. And as much stupid as it sounds, but her heart was afraid that if his feelings for her will lessen or he will start seeing her as a failure if she failed in the exam.

"Mithiye." Saumaya came out of her thoughts hearing her soft voice.

She swear on her existence, whenever he calls her with these names, her heart flutters, literally.
