I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun.

THIRD PERSON'S POV
Saumaya flinched with the sound of thunder as she looked in the balcony at the downpour before looking at the wall clock for the time which showed past midnight.
Her heart was shuddering with every roar of cloud or thunders as she sat there waiting for her husband with baited breaths, her foot tapping the marble floor.
Getting anxious she picked up her mobile and dialled his number only to sigh frustratingly and keeping it back after hearing the computerized voice that his phone was off.
Last she had talked to him two hours ago and he had told her that he was leaving the office, and at that time weather wasn't that bad, but it suddenly started downpouring and his phone is coming switched off since then.
Saumaya was hell worried and her mind was imagining all the negative scenes even after her continuous tries to not think much.
She didn't even wanted to disturb anyone from the family and worry then unnecessarily. Fiddling with her ring finger she waited for him to arrive.
And she finally felt herself breathing normally when she heard sound of screeching tyres of the car and standing up she ran downstairs.
Rudraksh entered in the house running his hand through his hair to shrug off the water. He looked above when he heard sound of anklets and saw his wife running down the stairs in haste. He frowned and took steps in her direction with concern as her ankle had just healed and met her in midway as she directly jumped into his arms.
He balanced both of them from falling back and held her as she hugged him standing on her toes, wrapping her hands around his neck.
He could feel her thumping heart and her panting as she had came running down. And he was worried but didn't asked anything and stroked her hair gently.
Saumaya's heart finally calmed down after coming into his arms. Her heart was finally at peace after seeing him fit and fine. Only she knew how she had spent the last two hours.
After some time when Rudraksh felt her breathing normally and at ease, he broke the hug and took her face in his palms and asked while stroking her cheeks gently,
"Ki Hoya Meri Jigar de Tukde?"
(What happen my piece of heart)
Saumaya's heart fluttered hearing him but she wasn't sure what to tell him, because saying that she was worried due to her negative thoughts felt embarassing to her own self
She shook her head and looked down and Rudraksh understood that she must have been worried and knowing her well, he knew what kind of thoughts would have haunting her.
"I was on my way when it started pouring cats and dogs, so I took shelter somewhere and my phone was dead. Am sorry for worrying you."
Saumaya blinked her eyes and looked at him before shaking her head in no and he gave her a smile.
"You had your dinner?" He asked and when she nodded he held her hand and started climbing the stairs with her beside him.
