THIRD PERSON'S POV
"Did you liked the saree Saumaya beta?"
Saumaya looked at the the saree in her hand and gave a beatific smile to Radhika and stroked the fabric in her gently, feeling the soft embroidery.
"It's beautiful Maa. Thank you so much." Radhika smiled back and looked at Mayesha who was standing beside them.
"Mishu designed it." Saumaya looked at Mayesha surprisingly and smiled at her who gave a small smile back.
"Where is this idiot son of mine by the way?" Radhika asked looking around the room and heard Rudraksh's voice from the door.
"Right here Mumma bear." Saumaya smiled at his gesture as he came inside and hugged his mother from behind, who patted his cheek and smiled at him.
"You aren't giving proper time to my daughter, Mister." Rudraksh looked at his wife who was looking at his mother with widened eyes and he smiled.
"Is it Biwi Sahiba?" Saumaya blinked and shook her head at which both mother and son chuckled making her frown and pout.
"Okay, you both get ready, I'll also go to get ready. Yeah?" They smiled at her and Radhika moved out of the room while Mayesha kept standing.
"I'll get read first." He smiled at Saumaya and moved into the closet ignoring Mayesha, who felt bad. Saumaya too noticed this but she didn't know if she was reading too much between the lines. Mayesha was about to leave too, when Saumaya stopped her.
"Mayesha, can I talk to you?" Mayesha frowned but nodded her head and Saumaya smiled.
"Are you--- angry at me? Did I did something wrong?"
Saumaya looked at Mayesha and observed her. She don't know but she feels that Mayesha doesn't like her. Or maybe its her overthinking she thought, but she knows that what his family especially his sisters means to her husband, and hence she would never want him to be in any crossroads if any situations arise.
Mayesha stared at Saumaya for a few moments, who stood there playing with her fingers, she sighed and held her hands and gave a smile.
"No Bhabhi, infact am sorry. Don't ask why, just---" Saumaya frowned but as Mayesha said, she didn't asked any further.
"Um, so, can we get ready together?" Saumaya asked with hopeful gaze and Mayesha was surprised but smiled and nodded, which made Saumaya smile in relief.
"So, in my room because I would not want Bhai to lurk around here." Both the girls chuckled and Saumaya nodded.
"I'll bring my things."
"Okay, I'll call Aarushi then, and Adhira too." Hearing Mayesha, Saumaya gave her a grateful smile and Mayesha went out while Saumaya felt relieved, and with a smile turned around to saw her husband standing near the closet door leaning into it.
"You were eavesdropping?" She asked with narrowed gaze at which he chuckled and stood strayed before advancing towards her.
He had came out when Saumaya had stopped Mayesha and asked her if she was angry at her. He stood there not wanting to disturb them but also wanted to hear what Mayesha say. And he felt happy when Mayesha herself apologised to Saumaya, and he knew she was feeling bad for the words she used earlier.
