THIRD PERSON'S POV
Saumaya sat on the chair in the dining area with her phone in her hand, playing a words game in it to kill her time, while waiting for her husband to arrive.
She looked at the time in her phone as she cleared the level, and saw it was past midnight. Her eyes were actually tired now, so she kept the phone on the table and put her chin on the back of her palm and her other hand extended on the table.
It had been a weak since they came back from Delhi, and things were pretty normal. Earlier she wasn't using her Instagram account in fear of criticism, but she was surprised seeing no hate comments or dm's when she logged into her account after three days. And she knew, it was her husband's doing, although she didn't knew how he did that.
Because isn't controlling netizens is kind of impossible? Because, ofcourse they fear none. So how her husband handled everything was still a mystery to her, but she wasn't complaining.
In this whole week she had came more close to her this family. Although she misses her mother and siblings alot and calls them daily but the love she was getting here was also not less.
Her, Radhika and Shivani spent most of the time together, either in the kitchen baking and cooking for the family, or in Radhika's botique which had astonished Saumaya when they visited their for the first time. She instantly became a fan of her mother-in-law's designs, who even gifted her the newest piece of their untouched collection, which although Saumaya denied but who could win against two mothers?
Noone!
She was close to Gautam and Anmol too. She really got her father back in them with double the love. She would go to the park with them in evening for walk and enjoyed their company as they both make fun of people around or would often tell her the stories of Rudraksh's childhood.
She was close with Aarushi even, and they would daily video chat in afternoon after her classes.
But with Mayesha, everything was confusing. Although she was hurt by her words but knowing how important she is to her husband, she tried taking steps to make a bond with her only to meet with Mayesha's irresponsive attitude. She tried talking to her but Mayesha wasn't ready to hear her. And although she hadn't stopped trying but thought to give some space to her.
And then comes her husband. Their bond had strengthened only. She really awaits the time to spend it with him. Although due to the pending meetings and above that the hotel opening coming near, he is busy with loads of work, but never once ignored her.
He daily make sure to message her twice or reply to her messages even in his tight schedule. After coming back home, he asks about her day and how she spent it and then tell her about his. He always make sure that she is communicating. And he listen to her boring talks about her same day very attentively as if she is saying something important, which always made her heart feel warm.
Saumaya was lost in her thoughts that she didn't realised when Rudraksh entered into the house and directly came to the dining area. He sighed seeing his wife sitting there with tired eyes lost in her thoughts.
He had already told her to sleep and not to wait for him as he would be very much late, but who listen to him?
Not his wife, atleast.
He moved forward and kept coat behind the chair and stroked her head gently bringing her out of her trance, as she looked above to saw him. His coat nowhere on his body, hair messy, upper two buttons of his shirt undone and sleeves folded till his elbow.
