Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.

"We need to talk-- Mayesha."
Although my eyes were directed at Lavanya, I made it clear that it was Mayesha I wanted to talk. Because apparently, that girl isn't worth my attention.
"Bhai--"
"In private, might I add?"
I don't know what worked, my stern voice or the fury in my eyes, but Lavanya finally decided to leave.
As she was passing by me, I made the vase kept on the table near the door, fell in her way which made her flinch and she took a step back and looked at me with shock.
"Am so Sorry, not."
"Lav, you okay?"
I looked at Mayesha who came forward to help her friend, which made me roll my eyes and I entered in the room pocketing my hand in my pants pocket.
After another minute, the nuisance was finally out of the room and Mayesha turned around to glare at me.
Oh, the audacity my sister got.
"What was that Bhai? She would've been hurt."
I tilted my head and blinked, "Saumaya is hurt. But I didn't see any concern for your own bhabhi in your eyes Mayesha."
Mayesha sighed and rolled her eyes before sitting on the bed which made me angrier.
"Stop showing me that attitude, lady. And answer me."
My voice was firm and on the verge of bursting, and Mayesha knew it better not to make me angry. Although I rarely get angry with my family members, you would not want to make me even.
She looked at me and stood up, crossing her hands on her chest, "What do you want to ask?"
I blew the air out of my mouth to calm myself.
"I'll start from the start, why do you keep ignoring Saumaya and her efforts every time?"
Mayesha stared into my eyes and declared, "Because I don't like her."
And I was shocked hearing her. Did she really mean what she said?
"You don't like Saumaya? Might I ask the reason?"
She sighed and looked away. Right now, my sister was actually testing my patience. And I don't really know how much time I could handle myself.
"Because - I don't like her, simple. I- I find her fake; she acts so innocent and sanskari in front of everyone but I can see her real face behind that mask. Trust me Bhai, she is not what she shows. She shows that she is innocent but she isn't. She acts like the perfect girl but in real, it's all her facade, which you or anyone in the family is unable to see. She is one heck of a---"
Mayesha stopped and flinched with the sound of the now smashed vase on the floor, and she looked at me with shock written on her face.
I tried. I did try to control my anger. But with her every sentence, it kept losing, until I lost it completely.
