Hao opens the door , to see a guy probably of similar age as himself standing in the hallway. For a minute they just stand there , looking at each other in complete silence, the only sound coming from the drops of water , falling from Hao's hair.
"Are you here to deliver food?" He finally breaks the silence.
"Oh yes, here it is, sir", says the boy while holding the bag in his direction. Hao flinches at that sentence, it feels weird to be called "sir" by a guy of similar age, although he knows that that is probably what the guy was instructed to call his customers. He reaches for the bag. "You don't have to call me sir." He tries to get rid of the awkwardness while noticing that the other boy is still staring at him. It's not like that is something he isn't used to; because of his success he obviously gets recognised a lot. The difference is that usually people seem shocked or excited to see him, while this boy's expression is just cold. At least he doesn't have to worry about a fan finding out his home address."Wait a second I'll give you a tip" his attempt to ease the situation, obviously fails as the boy in the hallway replies with: "That's not necessary, sir "I'll be going. There are a lot of other people who choose to be unhealthy and are waiting on their midnight snacks."
It takes Hao a minute to realise what the boy just said. He completely freezes up , unable to move, he just looks at the boy walking away while feeling his eyes slowly starting to water. With the bag in his hand he slides down the wall in the entry of his apartment. As he sits on the floor, tears start falling down and he starts to cry.

Hanbin obviously doesn't know any of Hao's demons and struggles so he doesn't know, how much his words affect the other. But as he reenters the elevator he senses how dejected he left him. The sudden frustration escapes him as quickly as it surfaced. Did he really just treat a customer badly because he felt jealous of the other's career. Usually he is considered the perfect employee, always having a genuine smile on his face and being nice, polite and friendly to every customer he encounters. He is very well aware of the fact that he just disgraced that reputation, the feeling of disappointment he feels in himself almost becomes overwhelming as he leaves the apartment complex.

Even though he doesn't actually want to eat his food anymore, Hao knows that he has to eat something to not get really sick. He somehow finds the energy to get up and finally close the door. He sits on his couch and starts to eat but he can't really enjoy any of it. The words the delivery guy said brought back all the memories he so desperately tries to forget... Bothered by the silence of his apartment he turns on the TV in hope of getting distracted. They're currently showing the news report, which talks about the situation that happened earlier that day in the park. Hao can't believe his eyes when he sees the man that caused trouble in the park, it's the same man he himself is so traumatised of. He quickly turns off the tv again and wraps himself inside his blanket, he feels really scared so he just keeps sitting there until eventually he falls asleep.
I'm sorry this chapter is so short , I only realised this while publishing it. Maybe I'll double update Sunday to make up for it.
