Chapter 19

After the café incident Hao has been completely buried in work, since his fan meeting is now only a few weeks away. The situation also kind of resolved itself after Hao posted pictures of him with the SOLAR members, showing he is equally close to all of his juniors. Both fanbases actually seem to love the idea of their artists getting along so well, requesting for them to create more content together.

However the one thing that hasn't been resolved yet, is the situation with Hanbin. As the preparations for his concert become more intense he misses the other even more. He wishes for nothing more than feeling the comfort of spending time with his friend again. But he still feels incredibly ashamed of the way he broke down in front of the other when they haven't known each other for that long. And it isn't even the first time it happened. Even more than feeling ashamed he is scared that Hanbin might think he is a complete mess of a person, not wanting anything to do with him. At some point he feels so overwhelmed by the fear of loosing the only person he ever felt so close to, that he decides it would be better to just get it over with.

He makes the decision to go see Hanbin at the restaurant he works at. So on friday night, after finally finishing his schedules for the day he nervously makes his way to the location he found in the internet. He is relieved to see that the restaurant is not located in the city centre but in a less popular part of the city near the university campus. Of course that means, the chance of being recognised is still big, but since he is wearing his cap and mask and it's the middle of the week he tries to just be optimistic.

The store is located on a beautifully illuminated street with little colourful lanterns hanging in between the two rows of buildings. There seems to be also some cafés located in the same street but they're closed due to the advanced hour.

He stands there for a while trying to muster up the courage to enter.When he finally does, he sees that the store is indeed almost empty, there is only a handful of customers and two workers, but Hanbin isn't one of them.He almost makes the decision to turn around, and just leave again, but since it took him so much courage to come here, he is determined to get something out of it. So instead he goes to sit down at the table in the corner and just takes in the peaceful vibe of the place for a while.

He is so lost in thought that he doesn't even notice one of the two part time workers coming up to him."Hello welcome, what can I get you today." 

Hao is startled by the sudden question. He makes the mistake of looking up at the boy, who is widely smiling at him, with very defined dimples located on each of his cheeks.

The eyes of the boy immediately widen when they make eye contact. "Omg you're ..." he squeals but at Hao's obvious signs he somehow manages to stop himself before attracting even more attention.

He lowers his voice before speaking again. "I'm sorry. I was so surprised, I am a really big fan, I can't believe you're actually here, how is that even possible."

"Don't worry about it, yes it is actually me, I'm always glad to meet fans." Hao says trying to hide the fact that he finds the other's excitement and nervousness very endearing.

"So should I get you something, I'll try to make it as delicious as possible." The boy seems to remember that he is actually currently working.

"Sure just bring me whatever you would recommend from this place."Hao happily replies, the stress and discomfort he normally feels when getting found out disappearing completely.
