Chapter 31

Even as the both of them got busier again, they still made sure to see each other as often as possible. They had fallen into a comfortable pattern of working hard and then releasing the stress and tension by spending time together, talking about their days, sharing meals, watching movies. They had not spoken about their relationship status again but still the atmosphere was never awkward around them, they only grew closer, becoming even more affectionate with each other but always making sure to hide from the public eye.

The only witness to their mutual fondness was Taerae, who also grew closer to the celebrity, being brought along by Hanbin to some of their hangouts.

Now that Hao's injuries were healed completely, the infamous fanmeeting was only a few days away, and Hao's manager had to promise him again and again that he would be shielded from unwanted visitors. Hanbin empathetic as ever had also become nervous for him , with him , but still done his best to try to reassure him.

Hao didn't want to admit it, but it also made him sad to have to be so far apart from Hanbin for a few days.

The evening before he had to leave, he had become so restless that Hanbin had managed to get the confession out of him. As a reaction he had pulled the idol in a tight hug admitting that he felt the same way.

Before leaving the next morning , he had promised Hanbin to call him the minute he got to the hotel.

For good measure they had also stayed in contact through text massages.

Hao:

I'm on my way to the airport now.

The stuff are already fussing because fans are gathering at the airport.

Hanbin:
I wish I could be there to act as your personal bodyguard.

Hao:

I think you're not strong enough to protect me, they would just fling you away.

Hanbin:
You're mean :(

Hao:

I'll be fine, I'm used to the crowding.

Hanbin:
I know but I'm still worried.

Hao:

I'll tell you as soon as I made it through.

Teasing Hanbin helped , distracting him from the nervousness he felt every time he approached airports. For once he made it through the crowd without having to fake his smile.
The second he was settled in his airplane seat he pulled out his phone to message Hanbin again.
