Chapter 15

After contemplating for a long time, the longing to see the celebrity again wins over and Hanbin decides to go through with the plan of bringing Hao some food. He still feels weird about not being able to announce himself, since he doesn't have the others number.

He once again finds himself at the gate of the apartment building.

Just then he realises that he has to pass the security guy again but he doesn't have any good excuse to be here.

He thinks about how Hao told the security guy to let him in if he ever visits, but will the security guard actually just let him walk in?

When he passes the booth, the guard stops him with a friendly attitude. "Good evening, you are Mr Zhang's friend right?"

"Yes sir." , although the guard is smiling at him, Hanbin feels nervous. He hopes he is not in trouble.

"Looks like you are bringing Mr Zhang some food again, but I am afraid it seems like he is not home yet. Would you like to give the food to me. I promise I'll pass it on to him when he arrives. He usually comes home around this time anyway."

Hanbin still feels shy but he can't stop himself from asking, "Would it be okay if I wait for him myself?".

Now the smile on the guards face becomes even wider. "Of course, it is not my place to stop you. I'm glad to see Mr. Zhang found someone to keep him company. The poor boy never had visitors except some unwanted ones... it's really good to see that that has changed. He is such a nice guy, he deserves it."

Hanbin can hear in the guards tone, that he is also genuinely worried about Hao."Why don't you wait in the yard , I'm sure he'll be here soon."

Hao has had such a long day, the preparations for his fan meeting are really exhausting.

He feels completely drained as he finally gets to go home.

After getting dropped off by his manager, he starts making his way to the building. As always the security guard smiles brightly at him when he passes the booth."Good evening Sir, I hope you had a good day, please make sure to rest well after eating a good meal."

Hao pretends to be sulky, he answers with a pout on his lips. "First of all stop calling me sir, second I promised you and Ms. Hwang to take care of myself. You don't have to worry."

"That is good to hear, Sir. It's my duty to remind you of that promise everyday. You should make room in your refrigerator my wife will bring you new dishes this weekend."

Hao knows refusing the food is hopeless. After everything that happened to him, the pair has made it their personal mission to take care of him. He feels eternally grateful to the two. "Your wife is an amazing cook, I wish there was something I could do to repay you."As always when he brings it up, his request is quickly dismissed by the guard. "Goodnight Sir."

"Goodnight Mr. Hwang." Hao continues to walk to the front door.

His thoughts trail off to Hanbin again, as they keep doing every time he isn't preoccupied by work. He really misses the other although it's been just a few days since they met.

"Hao!", he suddenly hears someone calling him. He turns around in complete excitement, he would recognise that voice everywhere.

He feels his heartbeat quicken as he sees the boy he was just thinking about , sit on the little white bench they met at previously.

"Hanbin? what are you doing here?" he still can't believe the other just appeared out of nowhere.

"I wanted to see how you where doing with the preparations for the fan meeting. It must be quite exhausting. I brought you some food. I'm so sorry I didn't announce myself. I know it wasn't my place to come here. I..."

Hao cuts him off, "I'm glad you're here, I'm happy to see you again". He can see how red the other boy's cheeks have become which makes him smile to himself.He quickly goes to sit down next to his friend. Hanbin sets the food between them and they start eating while telling each other about their day. The food quickly disappears. Although Hao felt so drained before when he arrived, he feels completely fine now. He enjoys spending time with Hanbin, he feels truly happy and at ease listening to the other talk about his day.
