Hao finds Hanbin's family very endearing. He has completely forgotten about the pain in his body. He is too occupied happily watching the warm scene in front of him. The little family seems so close, while his own family situation is the complete opposite.

When Hanbin's cousin asks him what happened to him, he hates having to stay silent, but he knows he can't possibly burden the people in this room with his extremely messy past. Not more than he already has at least, he definitely can't drag Hanbin's family into this. A that moment his manager barges through the door closely followed by a very agitated Gyuvin.

"I let you alone for a second and this happens!" the manager exclaims.

"Hyuung ! who hurt you?!" Gyuvin shouts in the same moment.

"Gyuvin?" Yujin jumps in.

"Yujinie?" Gyuvin seems even more agitated and confused now.

Hao shortly looks at each of them, trying to understand what's happening.

The manager starts speaking again. "I'm sorry, I should have insisted on taking you home safely. I definitely didn't do my job right.

Hao can see how guilty the man feels, which is ridiculous as it definitely isn't his fault. "You don't have to apologise, it's not your fault. I literally told you to go home. You can't follow me around 24/7, I just happened to be unlucky yesterday. It's me who wasn't careful enough, don't blame yourself." He tries to make the man feel better.

The manager nods then looks curiously at the other two boys in the room. "Who are they?"

Hao takes a moment to answer, he shoots a look to Hanbin who is still standing by his side. He finds the other boy staring right back at him. It's probably because he isn't used to actually having people in his life but it somehow feels weird having to describe Hanbin as a friend, so he settles on just not defining anything for now.

"This is Hanbin, we have been getting close lately. He is the one that saved me last night. And this is his family." "How do you two know each other?" he then asks Gyuvin.

Gyuvin is quick to respond. "Yujin is one of my best friends, but that is not important right now. What happened to you?"

Hao knows he can't possibly ignore the question any longer, not with now five curious pairs of eyes looking at him. He can't tell the whole truth either though. "I got attacked by a man yesterday after leaving a restaurant. The man was probably drunk, he started beating me. Hanbin somehow found me and called the hospital."

He immediately feels bad for partially lying, he really hates it but he knows he has to. Gyuvin, Yujin and his mother seem satisfied with that answer but he can see that both his manager and Hanbin aren't fooled that easily.

He turns back to Gyuvin. "How do you even know about this? Why are you here?."

Instead of the younger artist the manager answers. "I stopped by the company before coming here. I had to alert the higher ups that we needed to clear your schedules for at least a few days. The SOLAR members heard the conversation. They all wanted to come but I told them they shouldn't, it would cause way too much attention. But this guy is impossible to shake, he insisted on coming."

Hao lets out a small laugh. He knows first hand, how impossible it is to say no to the puppy-like boy.

His manager turns to the nurse. "Miss, did the hospital get in contact with the police? When is he getting discharged?"

"They probably did as that is the protocol. However they didn't appear yet. We are just keeping him until he stops feeling dizzy, in case he shows any signs of a concussion.", she answers.

"Okay, we need to stop the police from coming here, they can question you later. Right now it's important that the press doesn't find about the situation. Otherwise hell will break loose. I'll be right back I need to make some calls." The manager quickly leaves the room.

"I have to check on other patients, you guys eat something and then take the medicine like I instructed you earlier." Hanbin's aunt follows the manager out of the room, leaving the four boys.

Yujin starts unpacking everything he brought. Hao can't believe his eyes as the young boy sets up a whole buffet in the hospital room."You are lucky that Hanbin falls into crazy cooking phases when he has something on his mind. He calls it meal prep, I call it insanity",the young boy comments in reaction to the idol's perplexed expression.

"You made all of this?" he asks Hanbin who slightly nods.

"You must have had quite a lot on your mind then."

Yujin scoffs mockingly as Hanbin blushes, turning a light shade of red.

They start digging into the food, happily chatting. Hao is so happy he even forgets about the reason he ended up in the hospital in the first place. Even if the circumstances are bad, Hao can't help but think that it feels really good to have so many people around him. He almost catches himself wishing situations like this would occur more often.
