The next day:
It's the first day in a long while , where Hao doesn't have any schedules. He didn't want to spend all day hidden in his lonely apartment, so he randomly decided to take a walk outside to clear his mind.
Sunshine idols:
Puppy-Gyu (Gyuvin):
What are you doing today, hyung?
Zhang idol:
Just taking a walk outside.
Mattchew:
I wish we could also have a free day. I'm envious.
Tall and Handsome (Ricky):
Stop complaining, we need to prepare for our overseas concert. I can't wait to go shopping in L.A
Muscle Teddy (Gunwook):
Yah. Young and rich indeed. You'll buy me sunglasses right?, since I'm your favourite little brother.
Mr. Model ( Jiwoong):
Stop being crazy guys, Hao don't you think you'll get recognised tho?
Zhang idol:
Don't worry I'll be careful, I'm also wearing a face mask and a cap.
Mr. Model:
Okay. Keep us updated. We have to go now.
Hao is happy that there are people who worry about him now. When Ricky asked for his number the day before, saying he wanted to be able to ask Hao for advice from time to time, he had no idea he would end up in a group chat with all of them. But he is secretly really excited about having people to talk to.After some time Hao ends up, in the park, he couldn't stop thinking about what he had seen in the news a few days earlier.It wasn't enough that that man had traumatised him, now he was harassing random people in the park.
Soon he reaches the little stone theatre. He can hear music playing from the stage. He keeps walking without paying a lot of attention to the performance or the audience. He tries not to have any interaction with all the people. He continues walking until he reaches the street food vendors, he's glad to see that the vendor who fought with the evil man seems fine. This is the actual reason he came to the park in the first place, he needed to know no one was actually hurt.He gets himself a drink and walks back to sit in one of the last rows of the theatre. He finally turns his attention to the stage, his jaw drops as he recognises the boy singing on stage.For some time Hao just sits there unable to move, he hasn't been able to forget the awkward interaction with the delivery guy a few nights before.
The first time they met, Hao already noticed how handsome the other boy was, but that isn't what fazes him in that moment. The singer's voice beautifully resonates in his mind. The boy on stage is an incredible singer, who looks truly happy as he performs on that little stage in the middle of the park. Hao turns his attention to all the young people around him. The whole vibe seems so light and peaceful. His own performances definitely aren't like that, he usually performs in front of giant crowds, which can sometimes feel suffocating as he feels pressured to always give the best performance he possibly can. Here, outside, under the sunny weather in the park there doesn't seem to be any kind of pressure at all. It's not like Hao isn't grateful for his fans and his career but in that moment Hao wishes he could perform like that too just once. His focus drifts back to the singer, he can't help admiring him.
He suddenly freezes as the two share a quick eye contact, he can feel his heart starting to beat faster. Embarrassed Hao quickly leaves the park.
