His manager looks at him through the car mirror with a worried look on his face. Zhang Hao is being driven back home.

"It was him right? The one who hurt you?" Hao just slowly nods, his manager is the only one that knows a bit of the situation back then.

— — Flashback — —

Hao was standing in front of his CEO's office, it took him a lot of courage coming here but he just needed to at least try. He slowly knocks on the door.

"Come in."

He walks in. "Hello Sir."

"Oh if it isn't our most shining artist."

Hao freezes in the door, somehow the man looks at him furiously. "I just wanted to ask if it would be possible for me to redebut in a group. I think it would be even more successful. I could try more different concepts and sounds. I think it would be really good for me to show people new sides of me." He normally wouldn't have chosen to engage in the conversation so straight forwardly but he felt so anxious his brain and Korean skills were shut off.It isn't such a bad idea but the way his superior is still glaring at him, makes him instantly regret ever bringing up the topic.

"Just you wait, I have already thought of a plan for you . Alone."

Somehow this last comment sounded like a threat and Hao quickly politely retreated. He didn't know then that this was only the start of his personal horror. A few days later he was introduced to his new dance teacher. As he introduced himself, the man kept smiling at him cruelly. Hao already felt anxious and uneasy then but he couldn't imagine how much worse things would become in that moment.

— — end of flashback — —

His manager sighs. "I think it's time we do something this can't go on."

"Nooo", Hao cries out in response. "You know we can't. All of this happened because he actually encountered me, as long as I don't meet him again we are safe. Things have improved so much , let's not ruin it, because of one unlucky incident."

The man still looks at him worriedly from behind the wheel. Hao is bad at hiding his emotions, he still feels scared just thinking about that man. The words uttered by his attacker about it not being over still resonates in his mind. "I'm glad to see that you made a new friend by the way. He is the one you filmed a dance challenge with a few weeks ago, right? " It's very obvious that his manager is trying to distract him and it works very well.

He blushes as his thoughts return to Hanbin. "Yes Hanbinie, he saved me yesterday. I would probably have worse injuries than a sprained arm if it wasn't for him."A mischievous grin grows on the manager's face. "It's good that you have someone to rely on. I'm not the company, I'm loyal to you, so you don't have to hide your feelings in front of me."Hao's face has become so red, he looks like he is about to explode. He somehow can't bring himself to deny the implication. He feels so embarrassed he accidentally chokes on air and starts coughing.

The manager can't hold back his laugh."I may be overstepping but in case you're scared that he doesn't feel the same way... Judging from the way he looks at you, I don't think you have to be worried."

Since he usually doesn't have anyone to talk with about these things , and "these things" isn't something that happened to him before, he can't hold back his thoughts anymore. "Are you sure? What if he doesn't like me like that? I don't want to be a burden to him, being close to a celebrity isn't easy , will it be okay?"

"I think if you both are on the same page, and I'm pretty sure you are, it will be okay. You can't keep baring everything by yourself, you need someone you can trust, who can take care of you sometimes, who distracts you from all the stress and expectations you face everyday. It probably won't be easy, you are still an idol, but if it's the right person it will be worth it. Also he was there this morning, which means he probably stayed by your side tonight in the hospital, right?"

"Yes he stayed to make sure, I was okay." A warm feeling spreads through his body as he thinks about the way Hanbin comforted him.

The manager smiles at him knowingly. "See? He clearly cares for you."

Hao's insecurities are far from being gone, his mind is still restless. "What if I mess it up? He knows I didn't tell the whole truth about the attack, I couldn't talk to him about it. I think I disappointed him." Just like that he feels cold again, he has been worried about having let down Hanbin ever since they parted ways at the police station.

The manager looks at him with compassion. "It will be fine, take your time figuring everything out, trust each other and it will all be okay." Hao feels a bit reassured especially because he remembers Hanbin saying something similar to him.

"We'll be there shortly, take a good rest. Take care of yourself and enjoy the free time for a few days. Don't worry about your schedules the company will take care of it. Also I hope you know, you don't have to rush confessing your feelings, you can take it slow, think about it for a bit. Just follow your instincts, don't feel pressured."

A bit later, Hao is again in the sad solitude of his apartment. He had a small talk with the security guard who almost fainted out of worry as he saw the bruises on his face paired with the cast around his arm. Once reassured, he had let him go after making the celebrity promise that he would call him in case he needed help with anything. He feels frustrated as he feels helpless, struggling to do anything with only one arm. He tries very hard not to think about the attack but in the silence of his apartment, his thoughts keep going back to the events of last night. Luckily he gets a call from an also very worried Taerae in that moment. It feels good to know that there are people who worry for him, but it also makes him feel like a burden, so he tries to quickly assure his new friend that he feels fine. After the first call he does the same with the SOLAR members so they can focus on their work.

With no one to distract him anymore his thoughts once again start to slip and he can feel the fear creeping up on him. Outside the sun is slowly setting and the quiet of the evening settles in.His breath quickens as he tries to fight the feeling of anxiety that threatens to overwhelm him.Just in that moment he hears the doorbell ring.
