They were on their way to the twentieth floor and when the elevator doors opened, they were shocked to hear the loud voices of people having a chaotic singing battle.
Several people were speaking at the same time but some just laughed along and it came from one of the cubicles on that floor.
No one noticed their arrival.
Jack just scratched the back of his head and gave them a sheepish smile.
The floor was filled with five cubicles that formed a maze at the right side while at the left side was a sound-proofed recording studio. The center space was a long hallway and one could see from the elevator that there was a huge space at the other end where fifteen to twenty people could dance around or organize a party. The place was huge. The building itself occupied an entire block in the streets. There was a receiving area for guests where the sofas form an "L" right next to the elevator before the cubicles. Jack guided them towards it.
"Forrest!" Jack called out loudly but his voice got drowned from all the noise. They were heading to the sofa when someone suddenly walked out of the recording room- a man wearing a bright navy blue shirt paired with khaki shorts that emphasized his milky white skin. He had a scowl on his face but... he looked cute.
"Hey! The recording room was sound-proofed for a reason but your voices still-"
The man stopped shouting when he noticed their presence.
His gaze lingered a little longer in Luna's direction as if wondering who she was, but when his eyes traveled toward Terry's direction, they lit up in recognition.
"Mom?"
The noisy people were silenced and they all came out of one of the cubicles.
All of a sudden, four additional pairs of eyes zoned in on Luna, Terry, and Jack like a spotlight, making Luna uncomfortable. She unconsciously took a step back to hide behind Terry.
"Mom!" said one of the guys who came out later than the others. His cheekbones lifted towards the sky when he grinned widely at Terry. He led all the other guys towards them.
"Forrest!" Terry squealed in excitement as the man with prominent cheekbones ran towards her embrace.
He approached them and that was when Luna realized that Forrest was Terry's son. The two of them hugged each other tightly.
Luna watched silently from the sidelines.
When their hug ended, that was when the guys asked about her and why she was with Terry.
"Hi! I'm Luna. I was the unconscious woman Terry found by the shore."
Luna bowed to greet all of them. She introduced herself as such because Luna believed that that was the definition that best described her at the moment.
They all gazed at her in amazement.
"Whoa, this is the first time I met someone who suffers from amnesia!"
Someone suddenly voiced out what everyone was thinking about. It was the guy wearing a white shirt and loose black pants. His eyes were wide with amazement.
"Hi!" The guy waved his hands at her and smiled.
"That's rude, Gray." A beautiful guy with a deep and commanding voice admonished the man named 'Gray'. He also lightly punched the 'rude' man's bicep.
"Hi! I'm Valentin..." The 'beautiful' man introduced himself to Luna,"...and this guy is Gray," he continued.
The tactless guy lost his smile and bowed as he pressed his palms together to say sorry to Luna.
