42 Good Lord. Why Is He Growling?

It was a busy week for Luna.

Ms. Lucia requested to audit the past documents and now, Luna was drowning in papers.

She was currently in front of the elevator and was trying to push the button, but she had boxes on her hands and she had a hard time reaching it.

A finger beat her to it.

"Thanks." She was about to look behind her when someone took one of the boxes away from her. Another pair of hands took the second box, and then, the guy who pressed the button took the third one. Now that Luna's holding a single box, Xynth, Sage, and Dice's faces came into view.

"Hey." She flashed them a smile. "Thank you for helping me."

"Not a problem. Where are you headed?" Xynth asked.

"Just the third floor."

The elevator opened and the four of them entered one at a time.

Luna noticed that Sage only pressed three.

"Are you going there as well?" She asked them.

"We're on our way to the twentieth floor. We have a scheduled practice." Dice was the one who answered her.

"Oh, then-"

"We have time. Don't worry about it," Sage interrupted, knowing exactly what she had in mind. She just mumbled a thank you.

Sage and Xynth are members who do not talk much. Dice, on the other hand, loves to talk.

"Hey, Luna. How are you holding up?"

"I'm doing good, Dice. I'm a little busy these days but there's nothing I can't handle."

"That's great. Have you seen the most recent show we guested on?"

"Oh, yes! I finished watching it last night. Thanks to you, I did not get to sleep immediately."

"Really? Why?"

"I watched it while I was about to sleep. I never expected you to be so noisy in that show. You kicked my sleepiness away."

Dice laughed unabashedly while Sage and Xynth snickered behind her.

Luna chose that show they were in last night, thinking that her eyes would end up tiring themselves because the clip was an hour long. It was a wrong decision. They were chaotic in the show and she ended up hurting her stomach for laughing so hard. Because she was so giddy, she found it hard to fall asleep afterward.

"I will never watch your shows before sleeping again. I only got three hours of sleep."

The three just kept on laughing at her even when the elevator reached the third floor. They continued chatting but the men's eyes wandered around the new place they'd set foot on. It's not that they were not permitted to do so, it's just that they have no reason to be on this floor.

Luna led them to Ms. Lucia's room. She knocked and pushed the door open.

There's no one around at the moment.

"Just place the boxes here."

The men stacked the boxes one after the other and Lua thanked them for helping her again. She accompanied them to the elevator and bid goodbye like they were long-time friends.

Luna and Ms. Lucia's department was now treated like a contractual company that a corporation reaches out to whenever they need extra manpower to do random ad hoc tasks and Luna has done several things other than translating the documents.

This time, she woke up early to accompany Valentin to an event. For some reason, both Jack and Kris are not available.

Usually, any one of them will do in accompanying a single member of Code Red because they're both ripped and intimidating. Rowdy fans are usually afraid to get close when they're around. Too bad, they're both caught in something else this time so they asked Luna and another guy, Leo, to be with Valentin.
