Before she knew it, Code Red arrived in Princil for their concert. She received her ticket a week ago.
Before leaving her house, she made sure that her ticket was secured. She could leave anything behind except for the ticket.
Just like how Terry acted before, she dolled up before going to the concert. She may not be sitting next to Terry this time and may not have the TV exposure she experienced before, but she's still going to meet Code Red so it's a must for her to be presentable.
Hana took public transportation because she knew how difficult it was to find parking spaces. The concert venue was already packed when she arrived. When she showed her ticket to the staff, they were confused and they looked at each other.
What's wrong with my ticket? Did Hiro send me a fake one?
Hana was nervous. She did not want to be humiliated in front of the other fan girls. Who knows what they will do to her if the ticket is fake?
The staff were still flocking over her ticket when the guy who gave it to her suddenly called.
"Hana~ Are you here already?"
"I'm here but the staff are having trouble checking my ticket. Did you send me a fake one?"
The fans near her tried to listen in to her call. They didn't understand what Hana was talking about but they knew it was the language of Costa Syniale where Code Red came from. Princil had a different language. The ticket staff were from Princil and they did not understand what Hana as well.
"Fake? It's not fake. I got it from Jack." Hana heard Hiro call out for Jack and they talked. The reception was unstable so Hana was not able to hear what they're talking about, but Hiro got back to her and told her to wait because Jack was picking her up.
"What? Why him? He'll be recognized by the fans."
Jesus. Is this guy not thinking?
Hana was still on the call when the staff in front of her received a call. He nodded his head while saying consecutive yeses. After his call, he quickly verified Hana's ticket and stamped her arm with a VIP pass. He then got up from his seat and whispered something to his colleague.
"Miss, please come with me." The ticketing staff seamlessly ushered her through the different stages of getting into the venue. He then led her to the employees' entrance.
"I didn't know you were close with the members, Miss. Their manager personally called me to let you in." The staff was trying to pry for more information.
"I'm a friend of Jack's."
"Friend? I thought you were a member's girlfriend." The staff was not convinced by her explanation.
I bet everyone wants to be one.
Most fangirls wished to be a celebrity's lover. However, the same is not true with Hana. He cherished the boys' friendship and wished to have that to herself, to the point that sometimes, she's envious of their close bond.
Being close to them like this is already a dream come true for her.
"Hana!"
Jack met Hana and the ticketing staff halfway and he engulfed Hana in a warm hug immediately.
"Jack! Oomph!" Hana was almost crushed by Jack's hug. The staff excused himself and Hana thanked him before he left.
"It's been a while. How are you?"
The two animatedly exchanged stories to update one another about their lives and before they knew it, they had reached Code Red's waiting room.
"Hana's here?"
"Hana!"
The members rushed to greet her and some more extroverted members, led by Hiro, ran to hug her but she stopped them halfway.
"Wait up. I have a feeling some of you are going for a hug... but please be mindful, that you're not in your homebase. I was already bombarded with questions about having a special ticket. If you go for a hug..." Hana raised her hands as she reminded in a whisper.
She missed them but for her, their career came first. She wished to see them on screen longer so she wouldn't risk tarnishing their name with a dating scandal, especially since there's nothing romantic between her or any of the members anyway. She liked them like how a fan adores a celebrity, but having them as her lover is beyond her. Besides, romance is not her priority in life.
"You always stop me from hugging you, Hana. I thought you said you were a fan. Am I your least favorite among the members?" Hiro sulked and that made Hana panic.
"Least favorite? My gosh, no." Hana paused for a moment. "Whatever, you want a hug? Here's your freaking hug." Hana then initiated a side hug as a form of greeting. Hiro then smiled like he won the lottery.
"You're aware that he manipulated you just now, right?" Valentin said then went for a hug right after Hiro. She nodded in response as he hugged him back.
"I can't help it. He holds grudges." The rest of the members laughed as each of the members gave her a hug while saying they missed her. She was surprised that even the more introverted ones- Czar, Sage, and Xynth- gave her a hug.
"How are you feeling? All healed up? You didn't flinch when we hugged you." It was Valentin.
"Yes, I'm off medication already. I can also try scuba diving if given the chance. My doctors cleared me."
"That's good. Call us if you ever need help. We would appreciate it if you initiate contact sometimes. There's nothing wrong with friends updating each other from time to time." Forrest suggested.
But Hana never initiated contact with her 'friends' before, unless it's work-related, just like how she did it with Ericka, Carlos, and Veronica.
"I'll think about it. I never initiated contact before."
"You can send us a message for a start. We can't guarantee answering the call immediately anyway." This time it was Dice.
Should she try it out with Code Red? They sounded like they're more than willing to be her guinea pigs.
>.<
"Okay."
The concert was about to start so Hana bid her goodbyes and left them her present- five bottles of high-quality wine. She almost got in trouble for bringing them. Good thing, Jack called the staff and when she explained that it was a gift for the boys, they allowed her to bring it with her.
The members were ecstatic to receive the wines and asked if she would be back after the concert. She promised she would.
Hana headed to her seat after leaving the backstage. She felt great now that she lost a huge baggage- a.k.a. the wines. She sat on her seat while waiting for the rest of the audience to come in. People were coming in from different directions and she could hear their excited chatter. Their voices were louder than the Code Red songs blasting through the speakers.
The crowd's excitement got through Hana as well. She was extra giddy because she was able to take a photo with Code Red backstage.
She was scrolling through her phone when someone sat next to her. She did not mind the person and continued watching videos on her phone to pass the time.
"Hana?" The person beside her called her name. She looked up to see who it was.
"Zee?"
