At the airport...

The scarred man was indeed Kunikida, the scarred man Hana met in Marawaki, Boa Vista and the boss filled with gold jewelry was the man who killed Fujimoto.

The boss man was busy talking to his new business partner Mr. Ahmad, an oil tycoon from Goldleaf and he didn't notice that Luna bumped into Kunikida.

In fact, even if he saw Luna, he wouldn't recognize her. Unimportant nobodies were considered non-existent in his eyes.

Kunikida, on the other hand, was different from his boss.

He was the right-hand man of the boss for a reason. He would never forget a single face because it was the most useful skill to have in his line of work and he surely remembered Luna's face.

So, she's alive...

He did not expect that the woman they 'killed' back in Boa Vista would end up alive here in Costa Syniale.

He was already amazed that the woman only begged for them to let her go once but then changed her demeanor when she immediately noticed that begging wouldn't help her.

Now that she ended up surviving, his interest in the woman intensified.

Unfortunately, no matter how interesting she was, she had to die. She knew too much and that was a risk he did not want to have.

After they sent Mr. Ahmad and his men to their plane, Kunikida moved to instruct his subordinates about his plan to get rid of Luna.

Inside Fred and Terry's van, the two mothers were trying their best to calm her down. She did not stop shaking until she made sure that the airport was out of sight and that no one was following them.

"What was that back there? Did you remember something?"

"T-those men..."

"Were they the ones who tried to kill you?"

Victoria was shocked to hear Terry's question.

She did not know that Luna's amnesia was a product of getting involved with dangerous people. She thought it was just caused by an unfortunate accident.

"I met them in Boa Vista... but I still don't know if I'm from Boa Vista. I saw them kill a man named Fujimoto and because they caught me witnessing the scene, they also wanted to get rid of me. But I escaped and jumped off the cliff. They fired their guns at me but thankfully, they were not able to kill me."

"Did they see you?" Terry asked.

"Unfortunately, they did. I bumped into one of them."

Victoria and Terry both sucked in their breaths as their fear for Luna's safety intensified.

"Let's drop by the police station and share this first." Fred, who was listening to their conversations, suddenly suggested.

Without waiting for their approval, he already changed the course of the car towards the police station.

At the station, the police who were in charge of Luna's case were luckily on duty. It was easier for them to tell their story since they already knew half of the facts.

Since nothing happened yet and they're not sure if Luna was recognized by the gang, the police officers only advised her to be vigilant.

Luna asked for their phone number. They gave it to her without a second thought.

The four went back to the farmhouse after they visited the station.

Back in Adelaide, the parents who were left behind were also anticipating the return of the four. They were dreading to know about the development of their trip to the airport.
