Kris brought Luna to a cozy family restaurant.

When she arrived, the members and Jack were sitting around two tables placed next to each other. They had the entire restaurant to themselves.

"Luna! Finally, you're here!"

The members greeted her and Kris. Luna noticed that she was the only woman around.

Well, this is just so awkward...

"Sir, we can start on our hotpot now!" Xynth hollered to the owner of the restaurant. The owner and his assistants, who were his children, brought the necessary items needed to cook hotpot. It took a while before everything was placed in front of them.

The members were pretty much back to their usual selves- noisy and unruly.

At the beginning of their hotpot party, the conversations were still normal. What normal meant was that, they were talking at a regular pace and only one person talked while the others listened.

Eventually, when alcoholic drinks started to flow, the members' conversations overlapped with each other.

Valentin and Xynth were busy insulting each other while debating about who looked older between the two of them. They were the oldest members in the group so it mattered for them.

Forrest, who was sitting next to Xynth ignored the two and focused on the food in front of him. He also busied himself with giving food to other people. He placed five slices of pork on Luna's plate and poured more soup into Dice's bowl.

Dice, on the other hand, was having a conversation with Hiro while Sage joined in from time to time. Gray and Czar were by the counter, talking with the owner of the restaurant. The two were requesting more rice and side dishes.

Kris and Jack were also trapped in their own world, talking about how much money they lost from investing in stocks these days.

Luna, on the other hand, was busy munching on her food and just looking around, casually joining their conversations. They never forgot to include her and the awkwardness she felt earlier dissipated.

She liked where she was right at that moment, being close but not totally a part of their circle. She relished herself with watching the boys interact with each other.

It was a merry night. Everyone had bulging stomachs when they finally left the restaurant.

The guys were going to ride in a van on their way home. They offered to send Luna home but she rejected the offer with the excuse of feeling so full that she wanted to shake off the food by walking. After all, her apartment was just a few meters away from the restaurant.

It took a lot of convincing but eventually, they let her be.

Before leaving, they thanked her once again. They were all so noisy that the entire block probably knew now that the dinner was for Code Red to thank her.

Luna just nodded in acknowledgment. She let the car travel a few meters away before starting to walk home which was in the opposite direction of where the car headed.

She was above the clouds at the moment and if it's not embarrassing, she would've skipped as she walked home. She couldn't contain her happiness so she hummed a happy tune along the way instead.

She took a deep breath. The cold air felt good but there goes that familiar scent again. She felt annoyed every time she smelled it but she did not have any idea why. The scent was not painful to the nose and it reminded her of the sea. Technically, she should find it pleasant to smell because the smell of the sea is comforting for her.
