"Hi, Jack."
"Luna! Oh, my bad. It's Hana now." Jack hugged her sideways as a greeting and she reciprocated it.
He led her to the twentieth floor as Hana said 'hi' to the familiar people she met along the way.
"That's a really big bag you have over there. What did you bring?"
"Just some presents for you guys. I just want to show my gratitude to everyone."
The two reached the twentieth floor and as per usual, some people were talking over the other again.
"I told you, I can reach a higher note better than you now." That sounded like Hiro. He then did his best to sing a line. "See? That's why I should get this line."
Another person objected. "Okay, you reached a higher note than usual, but listen, this is my version." This time, it was Dice. "It sounded more natural with mine. Yours sounded more strained. What do you think?"
Jack and Hana heard the members seriously discussing so they waited for a bit before knocking and interrupting their meeting.
"Jack!" Forrest was the first one to greet and then he noticed Hana behind. "Luna?"
"Hey, everyone." She shyly greeted everyone as she peeked at them behind Jack.
"Luna!" All the members stood up to greet her.
"Oh, it's supposed to be 'Hana' now. Sorry, we're not yet used to it." Gray said as he gave her a sideways hug.
"I understand, it will take some getting used to," Hana responded.
"Oh, it's been so long. We missed you."
Forrest also approached her to hug her. "I hope you don't mind. We heard from our parents. We're so glad you're fine now."
Hana felt all the blood rushing to her head because some of the members hugged her. She felt Forrest letting go of her and Hiro was about to be the next in line but she stopped him.
"Wait, wait, wait." That stopped Hiro from moving forward. "What's wrong?" he said with his arms still hanging midair.
"Please, don't casually hug me."
"Oh, okay." Hana could visibly see the change in his mood as he let his arms down.
"Oh my god, I don't mean it that way. It's just-"
She took a deep breath.
"I have something to confess." Everyone turned serious.
"Okay, so, you guys know about me losing my memories temporarily, right?"
They all nodded.
She wiped her sweaty palms with a handkerchief.
"Okay. Please believe me. The amnesia is real and I did not maliciously plan to be close to you."
"Okay... so, what's your big revelation?" Valentin asked and Hana was intimidated. He's someone who looked amiable when he wanted to but she also saw how he was when he's angry.
"IamalreadyafanwaybeforeIlostmymemory." She quickly blurted while closing her eyes.
"That was too fast. Repeat what you just said," Valentin insisted, making her open her eyes again. She immediately saw Valentin looking straight through her eyes. The rest were also looking at her, and she felt extremely uncomfortable being the center of attention.
Oh, please. Don't look at me like that. I feel like I'm gonna melt.
"I said... I was already a fan way before I lost my memory..." Her voice got smaller in the end.
