Sepehr, the name of that man who tried to kiss me on our first meeting.

We had ran down the hallway together and set a few subjects free, some of them charged out of the cell immediately after listening to our plan and some limping out of the room.

Those who are left alive in the cell were either weak as if they'd been locked here for the past 30 years or were the strongest subject I'd ever seen. Some of them couldn't even run, their legs were shrinking till it's only skin and bones. I didn't have time to listen to their explanation, and only assumed that they'd undergone some awful experimentation.

We sent a few of them to destroy the facility's electrical system to slow the security team down and some weaker subjects to seek out other ones still locked in their cell.

"Do you need bolt cutters?" Sepehr asked as he caught onto me.

"Yea," I replied, pausing in the middle of the hallway as I heard him arriving beside me.

He handed me the bolt cutters which he claimed to have found in an office room.

We helped each other get rid of the bracelet and continued to the next room in the hallway.

He volunteered to be the first one to enter the room every time since he claimed to have more experience in fighting than I do. I glared at him as he opened the door, the bolt cutter in one hand and the other holding onto the door. His gaze swept the interior of the room swiftly and sentiently before allowing me to step in.

I took a glance at the room and realized it was a staircase up. It was the one which I'd used to get out before. I turned around and there I recognized the hallway where I once ran down after I crawled out of the vents.

For a moment, all of the horrific memories of my past attempts came to me, admonishing me of my past mistakes that I shouldn't make twice.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him with me. He followed, and I led him to the nearest room I could find, which is another one of the facility's many storage rooms.

"Don't we want to head up the stairs?" He asked after I shut the door.

I switched on the room's lights and it turned off after a moment on its own, signifying that a subject had sabotaged the electrical systems. I stumbled backwards and flinched, the world mimicked my emotion and the ground shook once under my feet.

I remained in my position and stared at the slight glowing light under the door crack to help me to see.

"No, we'll stay here for a while," I replied, "they're coming."

When the silence filled the room, he began another conversation, "You've been out here before," he stated.

"Yes," I confirmed, my gaze still locked on the light under the door crack.

"Once?"

"On countless occasions."

He moved to my side when he felt the conversation growing awkward, "Those alarms were you?"

"Could say so," I said, sighing as I turned my gaze to him, "I didn't like rules, so I broke them for fun sometimes."

"So you know where the exit is?"

"Not quite, but I know a place which is close to where it may be."

Before I could put out the next part of the plan, we heard footsteps rolling down the hallway. Commands were shouted and echoed down the hallway continuously.

The footsteps continued down the hallway for a long while, signifying how many men they've got to keep this place protected and the subjects contained. What we heard from their commands was that they'd located two subjects and sent a signal to electrocute them through their bracelet.
