She crossed the curtain, still unable to comprehend what had just happened right now because...
What the actual heck.
Satoru Gojo had just kissed her. KISSED HER.
Utahime's voice pulled her back to reality before she even got the chance to process anything. The urgency of the situation pushed aside any lingering thoughts of what had just happened, and Eliana focused on the task at hand. They didn't know what dangers laid ahead of them, and the students were probably in danger. That was the priority.
They moved swiftly through the forest, their senses on alert for any sign of danger or intruder. The air crackled with tension, and Eliana's heart pounded in her chest with each step they took.
The kids. She had to protect them. Outside, Gojo was trying to find a way to get through the curtain, but in the meantime... Well, they had to deal with it on their own.
- "I see two students over there!" Utahime yelled, pointing in front of her.
And indeed, she could see three figures standing ahead of them. Yuji, Nobara and... she didn't know the last one. And it didn't sound good. At all.
- "I'm gonna handle this", Eliana decided. "You, go try to find the other students, there's certainly more than one curse out here!"
Utahime nodded.
- "Be careful," she pleaded her friend before rushing in another direction.
She got to their position and stood in front of Yuji and Nobara protectively, shielding them from whatever that curse was about to do.
In front of her stood a human looking curse, with pale skin and blue hair. His limbs looked like they were attached with stitches, and a weird intensity was glowing in his eyes. He looked...
Insane. Literally.
- "Ah, if this isn't the infamous Eliana May... I've heard a lot about you. The name's Mahito, at your service..."
Eliana recoiled slightly at yet another mention of her name. It seemed that all the curses knew who she was, lately.
Though that wasn't necessarily a good thing. More like the contrary.
- S"orry sweetheart, but we're not here for you... not today at least," the human looking curse said with a sadistic smile.
- "But rest assured, your turn will come soon..." a chilling voice said from behind her, and she turned around, quickly.
It was the curse from back at the temple. There was no doubt about it, she would recognize him among hundreds.
The one they couldn't sense approaching. The one who first mentioned something about her being... important to their plans. Somehow.
- "What the fuck do you want?" Eliana vociferated, standing in front of Nobara and Yuji protectively.
The one named Mahito tilted his head, amused.
- "I thought Jogo already told you all about our plans... Got short term memory, perhaps?"
- "I know all about your pathetic attempt to take over the world," she snapped. "I meant what do you want now. Why did you target the school?"
- "Oh this," the curse replied, looking pensive. "Well, as you said, it's all part of our 'pathetic attempt to take over the world', so we wouldn't want to spoil the surprise, you see..."
- "Whatever you're looking for, you're not leaving with it."
- "And whose gonna stop us," the curse chuckled. "We voluntarily trapped your little boyfriend outside so that he wouldn't interfere. There's nothing you can do, woman."
