- "How do feel about us... going to the restaurant tonight?"

Eliana raised her head from her book, brows furrowed. They were seating in the cafeteria with Gojo, after he had just come back from his mission. And the man had just.. asked her out? Just like that.

She glanced at Gojo, trying to gauge his expression for any hint of what he meant by "us." Because maybe he meant it as in her, Nanami, Shoko... The entire squad.

- "You mean... as a date?" she asked hesitantly.

- "I mean... yeah," he replied, scratching the back of his head, visibly flustered.

With a smile, she nodded.

- "I'd love to go to the restaurant with you, Satoru."

Gojo's grin widened, and she felt a flutter of excitement in her chest. Maybe tonight would be the chance for them to finally address the unspoken... situation between them. To talk about what they were to each other?

- "Great! It's a date then," he said happily.

That evening, the man stood outside of her room, his heart pounding with anticipation. He had traded his purple uniform for a white shirt and black pants, in addition to his eternal black sunglasses. Nothing too crazy, but he still wanted to look nice.

When she finally stepped out, his breath caught in his throat. She looked... stunning, her hair cascading in soft waves around her shoulders, and her green eyes sparkling with excitement. For a moment, he couldn't tear his gaze away from her, captivated by her beauty.

- "You look... beautiful," he stammered, momentarily at a loss for words.

Eliana's cheeks flushed pink at his compliment, and she smiled shyly.

- "Thank you, Satoru. You look pretty handsome yourself."

They made their way downstairs, and settled into the backseat of the cab.

- "So, where are we going?" She asked eventually.

- "It's a surprise," the man replied with a grin. "But I'm sure you'll love it.

As the cab wound its way through the city streets, Gojo stole glances at Eliana, unable to resist admiring her beauty. She sat beside him, her eyes sparkling with excitement, and he felt a surge of warmth in his chest.

- "We're almost there," he said, unable to contain his own excitement.

Eliana's eyes lit up, and she leaned forward, peering out the window eagerly. Gojo couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. He was determined to make this night special for her, to show her how much she really meant to him.

The restaurant was cozy and intimate, with soft music playing in the background. Gojo led Eliana to a secluded table near the window, where they could enjoy the view of the city lights.

- "I hope you're hungry," he said, pulling out her chair. "I've heard the food here is amazing."

Eliana smiled excitedly, and reached out to squeeze his hand.

- "Thank you, Satoru," she said softly. "This is perfect."

They placed their order, as the evening wore on and they savored their food, Gojo found himself growing increasingly nervous. He knew that the reason why he wanted to take her out tonight was so that they could have a real conversation and address... the situation between them.  He wanted to tell her how much she meant to him, but he didn't know where to begin, and how to put into words what he felt.

He had been on many dates. Hell, probably over a hundred in his entire life, and he had always been the confident type. But then why was it that at that very moment, he felt so... nervous. Because with Eliana, it was... different. With her, he felt a sense of vulnerability that he hadn't experienced in a long time.

And that scared him. It scared him because he didn't know how to be vulnerable. He was used to being the confident, cocky sorcerer that everyone looked up to. But with Eliana, he couldn't hide behind his usual facade. He had to be himself, flaws and all. But at the same time, being with her made him feel alive in a way he hadn't felt in years.

As they finished their meal, he knew that it was now or never. He took a deep breath, building up his courage, and reached across the table, taking Eliana's hand in his.

- "So, Eli", he began, his voice slightly shaky. "I... I need to talk to you about something."

Eliana turned to him, concern etched on her features.

- "Is everything okay..?" she asked hesitantly.

- "Everything's fine," he assured her. "But there's something I need to tell you."

He took a moment to gather his thoughts, his fingers intertwining with Eliana's as he tried to steady himself. He had rehearsed this conversation in his mind countless times, but now that the moment was upon him, his words felt jumbled and uncertain.

- "So," he began, his voice wavering slightly. "First of all, I... want you to know that you mean more to me than you'll ever know. You always have, but in the last few weeks I probably realized that you were more important to me that I ever thought you would. Ever since you came back I've been..."

Gojo's voice trailed off as he struggled to find the right words to express the depth of his feelings. He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts before continuing.

- "I've been... different," he confessed, his voice tinged with vulnerability. "I've realized that being with you makes me feel... alive in a way I haven't felt in years. You bring out a side of me that I've kept hidden for so long, and I... I don't want to hide anymore."

Eliana listened intently, her heart pounding in her chest as she absorbed his words.

- "I don't know where we stand right now, but I just want you to know that... I care about you. More than I can say. And I think I like you as more than just a friend."

Gojo reached out, gently brushing a stray strand of hair from her face.

- "I know I should have said something sooner, instead of simply acting out of the blue, like at the curtain for example, but... I was scared. Scared of losing our friendship, if you didn't feel the same way, scared of what might happen if I let myself be vulnerable...But now, I realize that I can't keep hiding my feelings. I need you to know how much you mean to me."

Eliana sat in stunned silence, her mind reeling from Gojo's heartfelt confession. She had never expected him to open up to her in this way, him who was always so... secretive about his emotions. And yet, as she looked into his eyes, she could see the sincerity and vulnerability reflected there.

- "Satoru," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. "I... I don't know what to say."

Gojo reached out, taking her hands in his, his touch warm and comforting.

- "You don't have to say anything," he said softly.

Eliana's heart raced as she struggled to find the right words. For the past few weeks, she had realized that whatever she felt for the white haired man... It wasn't just friendship. At least not anymore. The pond, and then the curtain... There was an undeniable tension between them, and even she wasn't sure what those unfamiliar feelings that she felt for him were, faced with the truth of Gojo's emotions, she couldn't deny the depth of her own.

- "I... I feel the same way," she admitted, her voice trembling with emotion. "I care about you too, more than I ever imagined I would for someone."

A flicker of hope lit up in Gojo's eyes, his expression softening with relief and joy. He squeezed her hand lightly and, without a word, he leaned in closer, closing the distance between them until their lips met in a tender kiss.

And in that very moment, nothing else mattered.
