I'm woken up an hour earlier than I usually do by my alarm once again blaring in my ears. Why is it set for 06:00?
The past three days have been strange. We still don't know what our special powers are because Sir Cassander said to us that we need a few days' break before filling our brains with complicated stuff. So we're going to start today, but I still don't know why or how the alarm clock changed itself to this early. I get out of bed and head for the bathroom to shower, morning showers have always woken me up no matter what time it is. A knock on my door stops me in my tracks. I sigh, and quickly put my hair up into an extremely messy bun to look at least a little bit like I haven't just woken up, even though I probably look worse with my hair up.
"Morning." Jude is at my door, dressed, looking handsome like he always does. And I'm here in a short top and short shorts with my hair in a messy bun. What a look.
"Hello." Is all i say, covering my body with the door, suddenly not feeling very comfortable. I look at him from around the door, he smiles at me.
"You have ten minutes, get dressed and maybe brush your hair, I want to show you something." He explains.
"Where? And why this early? Did you set my alarm?" I ask question after question.
"I'll tell you soon just, go get dressed okay, i'll be out here." He takes a step back and waits for me to shut my door, no argument. I close it, take a deep breath and head for my wardrobe.
Jude is strange. He has weird emotions. He can be happy and talkative when he's with just me but then when it comes to meal times and training sessions it's almost as if he shuts me out. When he's just with me, he's so passionate and happy about what he talks about, it almost makes me feel weird things for him. I don't know why, it's just how he works. We talk on the way to breakfast, eat without talking to each other, so I'm thankful I have a talkative Grayson next to me. Training sessions he doesn't really speak to anyone, just focuses on himself, which I can't say is a bad thing. I'll let him off for that one. Lunch we don't speak, I mainly hang out with Grayson, Valentina and Raven when we have free time in the afternoons, and then afternoon training is just as boring when you're just sitting there watching everyone do their thing. Dinner is fine and then in the evenings the whole group either go to the campfire in the gardens, watch a film if you want to or you can do whatever you want. I do participate in these group gatherings, I just prefer to hang out with my brother or Grayson. Jude is normally with Rowan and Faye.
I changed into some black leggings, and a baby pink jumper. It's comfy so I'm not too bothered, I brushed my hair and put it into one french braid. My mum taught me how to do it when I was little, now it's a go to style if I'm late anywhere or short of time, it's quick but pretty.
I open my door to find Jude leaning against the wall in front of the door. He stands up straight and looks at me, blue eyes staring into my soul.
"Hey." Is all i say. He says hi back, and then he's taking me to a random place.
We end up in the gardens, under a large tree that has a swing hanging from one of the branches. We both sit on the grass.
"Why'd you bring me here then?" I say, observing the place around me. It's green everywhere, it truly is beautiful. The tree has green leaves sprouting everywhere, some falling down to the floor every now and then. Pink, purple, white, blue, red, flowers everywhere. I wonder why everything is in bloom in the middle of february. I thought flowers bloomed in april. But then again the weather here is a lot different than the UK. birds chirp, waiting for their mothers to bring them worms or insects to eat. There's a small rocky fountain somewhere, i can hear water, meaning there's also a pond or stream. The sun is just rising, making the sky look as if it were an abstract painting.
