Nothing EVER lasts forever

Standing in a place that is now your home forever but never will feel completely like home is a funny feeling.

Here me, Brooklyn and Grayson stand here on the balcony of the Palace of End Point, and must I say it is absolutely massive. Way larger than our castle. We all stare out into the trees that sway ever so slightly. It makes me think of when I first came onto the balcony after finding out my parents didn't actually die from a car crash. I dont have the same feeling as that day though, thankfully.

"Do you think we'll be okay?" Brooklyn asks. It makes me think, us three standing next to each other, how it used to be five. And how that number decreased ever so quickly. Arlo and Hayden were both snatched away from us too quickly.

I nod, looking at her. "I think we will." i suck in a harsh breath that rattles my ribs.

I am wearing a navy blue dress that is way too fancy for me. It's a sweetheart neckline and strapless so my chest is showing. And obviously it's a corset, hence the slight difficulty in breathing, but i'll live. I have been through worse. At the top of the corset lay pretty silver jewels, which I'm sure are real diamonds or some really expensive stuff. The jewels continue then at my waist, where the dress starts to flow out. It truly is gorgeous, and i really do suit blue. The dress has a very small slit in it starting from the top of my thigh. Despite the layers of the dress, it is easy to access the four daggers strapped to my thigh. What's even better? The slit doesn't show too much, so no one needs to see my scarred leg. My hair is half down and has loose curls waving around, then at the top of my head is a milkmaid braid i think they said it was. It looks like a crown upon my head, only its a braid. I have a few curled pieces of hair framing my face, and a whole face of makeup. I have never looked so dressed up in my life. I feel gorgeous, though I think I look better in a fighting uniform, it's alright. Im meeting the King and Queen soon.

Grayson speaks. "You both look extraordinary by the way." I look at him, knowing he's complimenting both of us, but he's only staring at me.

"Thank you." Brooklyn and I say at the same time. Her dress is black, and I must say it suits her very well. She has the body for dresses, she's got that perfect figure. It makes me almost jealous, but I shouldn't be. She has things I don't, I have things she doesn't. It's only fair. She gets the looks, I get the power. It's fair to me.

"You don't look so bad yourself " I add on, smiling at him. The grey suit fits him nicely. He looks good. He smiles at me and nods, running a hand through his hair that he was told not to touch. I slap his hand.

"Stop touching your hair! It looks perfectly fine with how the men did it." I complain to him.

Grayson winces as if it hurts. Dramatic much.

"I don't like it! Please just let me.." He takes a few steps back and runs his hands through his hair, trying to get it back to how it was before. Graysons words to me were 'the men got hairspray in my hair and combed it back slightly. What were they thinking!'

"You have to look presentable for everyone Gray!" i laugh. It's a little difficult with the corset but i'm managing.

"Grayson you are an absolute arse!" Brooklyn laughs, holding her stomach

"Olivia?" I hear Judes voice behind us. I turn around and I swear I see his jaw fall to the floor. He immediately walks up to me and kisses me lightly on the lips, his hands wrapped around my waist. "The things I want to say aren't appropriate here. You wait till tonight." He smiles, kissing me lightly again before taking one step back as if he wanted to admire me more, taking in the whole look. He looks extremely handsome, his hair is the same as before but a little tidier, and the dark blue, nearly black suit fits him well. He looks like he was made for royalty. I could kiss him and stare at his pretty face all day and night.
