Telekinesis.
That's what me and Arlo have. Telekinesis.
It's a strong ability. It's difficult. Really fucking difficult.
Me and Arlo have Telekinesis, Brooklyn has some sort of manipulation power, and Grayson has healing.
The past two weeks have been all exciting, exhausting, busy, quiet, loud, literally everything.
Me and Jude have a...thing? I don't really know what it is. He will still act sort of strange around me but when it's just us, we will talk and talk, he will smoke, we haven't kissed since the first time we did two weeks ago. I suppose I have been very busy and still getting comfortable here at End Point. He smiles when he's with me. And it's a really pretty smile.
"Olivia," Valentina snaps me away from whatever planet I was just on.
"Valentina," I say back.
"We've gotta get to training."
I sigh and look out in the distance. This balcony is now my safe space for thinking and just resetting my mind. It makes me feel at ease. The small breeze that hits my face as I look over all the trees that wobble in the wind.
"To be completely honest, I don't want to go." i say.
I'm not saying that training is bad, it's just extremely tiring. Trying to move things with your mind is extremely difficult. I've only lifted a few feathers and pieces of paper so far, the first week was training our brains and getting into the mindset of having abilities. I'm not really sure. It's all complicated stuff even though I can't understand it.
"I'll be honest, i don't really want to go either." She replies, standing next to me. "I never have really enjoyed training, it's boring and I've practised so much it's boring. Filling up the pool, soaking people, soaking things." Valentina goes on. "Jude has always liked training. He says it calms him knowing what he can do to people if they hurt him or his loved ones, aka, me and aka, set people on fire."
"Well I suppose that's Jude for you." I mutter.
"Yeah I guess. Come on, we have to go. We're going to be ten minutes late again and then Natalie is going to give us a speech on how we need to use our strength during this time and not waste it. I'm calling it." She rolls her eyes and smiles at me. I smile back and 100% agree that that will happen.
Now we know our way around the castle, we don't have to be assisted around as much now. Jude and I still walk to meal times together, we like to have morning, afternoon and evening conversations about whatever comes to mind. On occasion we will wake up early and go to the tree in the garden and talk there. We will lay down on the grass and point up to the clouds high above naming shapes and things that we see in them. I like him. We just haven't gotten around to talking about the kiss or anything like that yet. It makes me nervous.
"Good morning Olivia, Valentina." Natalie, the trainer for morning sessions echoes across the room. "Ten minutes late I see. Again. This can't keep happening girls, you're here to gain strength and learn about your abilities, not stroll around the castle and get here ten minutes late. What would Sir Cassander say about this?"
"Probably the same things you just said?" Valentina answers back.
"Don't answer back. You both go sit with each other and practise or talk or whatever. I'll be with you soon." Natalie groans, and goes back to do whatever she was doing with Milo.
"Okay mum." Valentina mutters under her breath. We both giggle and sit down in a corner.
After sitting there doing nothing for a few minutes, Valentina grabs a feather from the box of things we have for us and puts it in front of me on the floor.
