As soon as Donna learned that Moon was back home, she wasted no time in scolding her for not visiting sooner. Despite Moon's attempts to brush off the invitation to dinner, Donna insisted, and they made plans to meet that very night. Over dinner, Moon confessed to Donna that she had moved on from the breakup with Francisco and had no intention of dating him again, especially considering his mother's interference. However, as Donna got into a cab to leave, Moon's true feelings suddenly bubbled to the surface, and she chased after the car, unable to hold back her emotions.

Meanwhile, Maya, upon hearing of the breakup between Moon and Francisco, saw an opportunity to push Francisco towards her own affections. She urged Juan to serenade Moon in front of everyone, knowing it would further drive a wedge between Moon and Francisco. With his violin in hand, Juan played a heartfelt melody on the open grounds of the university, his music conveying the depth of his feelings for Moon. While Juan was expressing his love to Moon, Fransisco met with Maya at a cafe to clarify their relationship. Simultaneously, Moon was having a conversation with Juan at a milk tea shop, expressing her inability to return his feelings.

Francisco finally came to his senses and vowed to do whatever it took to win back Moon's heart. Determined to keep Moon away from Fransisco, Juan instructed her to turn off her phone for 48 hours and arranged for her to stay at Mira's house for the night. The next day, as fate would have it, the three crossed paths at the bus stop. Fransisco pleaded with Moon to stay, but she boarded the bus with Juan.

Francisco, unable to bear the thought of losing Moon, ran after the bus, desperately calling out to her. But his efforts were in vain, as the bus pulled away, leaving him standing in the middle of the road, feeling helpless and defeated. However, just as he was about to give up hope, he noticed Moon running back towards him.

Before their hands could touch, however, their reunion was abruptly interrupted by the arrival of the police. Shocked and confused, Fransisco watched as Moon was taken away by the authorities. It was then that he realized that he had reported her to the police the night before, accusing her of stealing the necklace he had given her, all in a desperate attempt to find her.
