Moon and Francisco sat down to talk, and Moon revealed her frustration about the bodyguards, expressing anger that she hadn't mentioned it sooner. Francisco, visibly agitated, moved to the dining table where Donna joined him.
Francisco vents to Donna about his mother's decision to assign bodyguards to him and Moon. "Your mom did the same with Isabella," Donna responded. Francisco nodded, troubled by memories of his sister's past. "But Donna, what happened to Isabella's boyfriend?" he inquired.
"He couldn't handle your mom's threats and left," Donna explained solemnly. "After that, your mom locked Isabella in the house. She refused to eat, so I secretly let her go. I hoped she could be happy. He ended up telling your mom and the bodyguards where she was and he never showed up. What worries me the most is that she acted fine during the day, but always cried herself to sleep. She faked her smiles and prepared for a wedding she didn't wish for. You already know what happened next."
Francisco shook his head in disbelief. "Who could take my mother's antics?" he wondered aloud.
"Don't you think she's doing well now?" Donna asked gently.
"Is she? Is it good to feel helpless? Is it good to be at the mercy of others? If that's the definition of good, isn't that really sad?" Francisco's voice cracked with emotion. "She lost the reason to hold on. She got betrayed by the man she loved."
"Francisco, your sister doesn't blame that person," Donna reminded him softly.
"So if someday Moon decides to give up on me, should I also just accept it?" Francisco's voice trembled with vulnerability. "There were so many times I thought I would lose her."
"How irresponsible. If Moon leaves you, it isn't because of your mom. It's because you gave up so easily. The things your mom does, is why you should hold on even more," Donna admonished, her tone firm yet compassionate.
"What if I'm the only one holding on? No matter how much I care for her and love her, does she feel the same? What if she just gives up?" Francisco's voice wavered with uncertainty.
"Are you scared? Moon's not confident because you aren't. Moon's not at peace because you aren't. People's feelings influence each other. Nobody knows what will happen in the future. The harder it gets, the more you support Moon. As long as your hearts are connected closely, you'll be able to overcome this together. I hope that both of you can be happy," Donna responded, her words carrying a sense of hope and encouragement.
Later that day, F4, Maya, Jeremy, Sophia, and Moon attended a tea ceremony hosted by Fredrick. Amidst the serene atmosphere, Francisco and Moon found themselves in a private conversation in the hallway. Francisco, with a hopeful expression, urged Moon to confess her love.
Moon hesitated, her heart conflicted, but before she could utter the words, another voice interrupted them. Turning, they saw Mira and Fredrick engaged in conversation nearby. "I like you, Fredrick," Mira confessed, her voice carrying a hint of vulnerability.
Francisco whispered to Moon, "He's going to break her heart."
However, Mira's tone was resolute as she replied, "I'm serious."
Fredrick's response was unexpected. "I know, confident girls are always pretty. But why are you saying this? What do you want? A date? A kiss? Hold hands? Mira, I think you've misunderstood. I'm a good person but not a good man. You should find a good man to protect you," he gently explained before walking away.
Francisco and Moon resumed their conversation, but Francisco's frustration grew when Moon expressed reluctance to reveal their relationship to everyone. Disheartened, Francisco returned to the gathering, leaving Moon behind. However, she soon followed, determined to make her feelings known.
"Francisco! I love you," Moon declared, shocking everyone present. With a mix of surprise and delight, Moon continued, "Listen, everyone, Francisco and I are dating," leaving a blend of smiles.
