Fredrick, Brandon, and Juan exchanged concerned glances as they discussed Amelia's perplexing behavior. Seated in Fredrick's living room, the weight of their suspicions hung heavy in the air, each of them grappling with the unsettling realization that something was amiss.

"I can't shake the feeling that there's more to this than meets the eye," Fredrick mused, his brow furrowed with worry.

Brandon nodded in agreement, his expression troubled. "It's like she's a different person lately. I mean, sure, she's always been driven by success, but this feels... different."

Juan leaned forward, his voice grave. "What if it's not just about money? What if something urgent has come up? Maybe her business is in trouble, and she's desperate to save it."

The possibility hung in the air, casting a pall over their discussion as they contemplated the dire implications of such a scenario. Despite their misgivings, they knew they couldn't afford to dismiss Amelia's actions as mere eccentricity.

Meanwhile, Maya and Moon braced themselves as they approached Francisco's house, their hearts heavy with apprehension. As they stood before the imposing facade, Maya took a deep breath, steeling herself for the confrontation that lay ahead.

Amelia greeted them with a frosty demeanor, her eyes betraying a hint of reluctance as she reluctantly granted them entry. Moon's heart pounded in her chest as she prepared to face Francisco one last time, her mind racing with a myriad of emotions.

Moon stood outside Francisco's locked door, her heart heavy with worry as she waited for any sign of movement from within. After what felt like an eternity, she heard shuffling footsteps

"Can you hear me?" Moon's words hung in the air, laden with desperation and longing as she pleaded for a response from the man she loved.

"Moon..." Francisco's voice was barely a whisper, filled with a mixture of pain and remorse as he struggled to muster the strength to speak.

"You idiot. Why aren't you eating? Why are you doing something so stupid?" Moon's voice cracked with emotion as she unleashed a torrent of frustration and concern. "Is it because of me? You always say I'm an idiot, but you're an idiot. Maybe you should just listen to your mom and marry Maya. That would be nice since she likes you."

Her words cut through the silence like a knife, each syllable laden with bitterness and self-doubt. "I never really liked you. I'm an ordinary girl. I just wanted to marry you for fame and money. Did you hear that?"

There was a brief pause before Francisco responded, his voice gentle and understanding. "I did. Go on," he encouraged.

Moon hesitated for a moment before continuing, her voice trembling with a mixture of frustration and vulnerability. "When we first started dating, it was pretty fun," she began, her words measured. "But towards the end, it started to get complicated. I couldn't take it anymore."

Francisco's response was immediate, his tone filled with warmth and affection. "Moon, you're so cute," he interjected, his words carrying a hint of amusement. "How can you be so stupid and cute? I'm really happy."

Moon's frustration grew as she struggled to comprehend his words. "What's this nonsense? Do you even know what's going on?" she demanded, her voice tinged with desperation.

But Francisco remained unfazed, his tone filled with unwavering certainty. "I never thought about giving up, not in the past, not now, not in the future," he declared. "Your visit today has proven it's worth it. Only Moon, who loves me more than anyone else, who worries about me suddenly disappearing, would say those hurtful things about me."

Moon stood tall before Amelia, her eyes ablaze with defiance as she faced the woman who had caused so much turmoil in her life.

"You're the one who needs sympathy, not me," Moon declared, her voice firm and unwavering, as she turned to leave, her footsteps echoing with determination.

Meanwhile, Isabella found herself in a heated exchange with her own mother. Despite the harsh slap she had received, Isabella refused to cower, standing up for her beloved brother with unwavering courage.

As her mother attempted to justify her actions, reminding Isabella of the past, Isabella refused to be swayed. "Moon is better and braver than you'll ever be," she retorted, her voice tinged with both anger and sadness. With a heavy heart, Isabella confronted her mother's shortcomings, acknowledging her prowess as a businesswoman while lamenting her failure as a mother.
