Moon sat at her desk, her brow furrowed with concern as she watched Mira work. She couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled over her since their conversation earlier. Mira seemed determined to pursue something with Fredrick, despite Moon's warnings about his character.

As the day wore on, Moon couldn't help but worry about Mira's well-being. She knew firsthand the dangers of getting involved with someone like Fredrick, and she didn't want to see Mira get hurt. But no matter how hard she tried to convince her friend to stay away, Mira seemed unwilling to listen.

Later that night, Mira found herself at the same bar as Fredrick, her mind still swirling with conflicting emotions. She tried to push aside her doubts and enjoy herself, but she couldn't shake the feeling of apprehension that lingered in the back of her mind.

Meanwhile, Brandon spotted Mira from across the bar, his eyes narrowing with concern as he watched a random guy approach her and strike up a conversation. He knew Mira had a low tolerance for alcohol, and he worried about her ability to handle herself in this situation.

"Hey, Fredrick," Brandon said, turning to his friend, "is Mira even going to handle drinking tonight? She's already had a few."

Fredrick glanced over at Mira, his expression unreadable. He could see the stranger pressuring her to drink more, despite the fact that she was clearly already intoxicated. Without hesitation, Fredrick stepped in, grabbing the drink from Mira's hand and pulling her closer to him, away from the stranger's influence.

"I'll drink it for her," Fredrick said firmly, his voice leaving no room for argument.

The stranger scowled, clearly annoyed by Fredrick's interference, but he eventually relented and walked away. Fredrick breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the man disappear into the crowd, his arm still wrapped protectively around Mira's shoulders.

Fredrick's grip tightened on Mira's hand as he led her outside, his frustration evident in his voice. "Are you drunk? Of course you are, you drank so much. What are you doing here? Why would you come to a place like this?"

Mira met his gaze defiantly, her resolve unwavering. "If you can come here, so can I," she replied stubbornly.

Sighing heavily, Fredrick ran a hand through his hair, his frustration mounting. "I've already decided! I want to be with you," Mira insisted, her voice trembling with emotion.

Fredrick's expression softened slightly, but his frustration remained. "Do you know you're giving me a hard time? You're making me mad," he admitted, his tone tinged with exasperation.

"I know," Mira replied simply, her eyes filled with determination.

"Stop acting so self-centered. You act like you're willing to give up everything for me. That doesn't work for me," Fredrick retorted, his tone tinged with frustration. "You... you're really one of a kind. But what do you even want me to do?"

"Last time you said there's regret in love. Did you have any regrets? Tell me, I won't bother you anymore, I'll stay away from you," Mira pressed, her voice tinged with desperation.

Fredrick hesitated, his gaze shifting away from Mira as he wrestled with his emotions. Finally, he let out a resigned sigh. "Fine. I'll tell you. But after this, leave me alone," he relented, his voice heavy with reluctance.

Fredrick's voice wavered as he delved into his memories, his expression distant as he recounted moments spent with Mira. "I knew a girl, Amber, before... We grew up together. She used to live next door and always come to my house to play," he reminisced, a hint of nostalgia in his tone. "Being together was as natural as breathing. But on the other hand, she made me breathless."
