After the group biked for seven miles to Eddie's trailer, the group, with a very out of breath Asher, had finally made it, where they saw another snack-sized gate. "This is where Chrissy died" Eddie tells them "Like, right where she died."
"I think there's something in there" Robin says as they look to see something trying to poke through the gate.
"What the hell is that?" Asher asks, right before the thing sticks through the gate, opening it, making the group jump back in shock. After the thing had went away, the five slowly walked to underneath the gate, to see Lucas, Max, Dustin and Erica standing on the other side of the gate, right above them.
"No way" Steve says, looking up at the four.
"Hi there" Dustin says to them with a smile as Erica, Max and Lucas wave up at them, making the five wave back.
"Holy shit, this is trippy" Robin points out.
"Yeah, you don't say" Asher says with a laugh "Let's get out of here. This place is creeping me out."
While the five stood there, waiting to get out of the Upside Down, Max, Dustin, Erica and Lucas had came up with a way for the five to climb through the gate to get back into Hawkins. That way was to use Eddie's bed sheets to make a rope for them to climb on, and use Eddie's mattress as something for them to land on. It was more Dustin's idea, which the other three just kind of helped him with.
"Those stains are..." Eddie goes to say as Robin gives him a weird look, looking at the three massive stains on Eddie's mattress "I dunno what those stains are."
"Yeah, sure you don't" Asher jokes with Eddie, making Eddie lightly shove the sixteen year old.
"Not quite sure how these physics are gonna work. But, uh... here goes nothing" Dustin says before throwing the make-shift rope through the gate, making it fall through perfectly stay where it is on both sides of the gate "There we go."
"Dustin, you're a genius" Asher happily says "A dickhead, but a genius."
"Thank you" Dustin says with a smile "Pull on it! See if it holds!" Dustin shouts through, making Robin pull on it, seeing that it's staying between both sides of the gate.
"This is the craziest shit I've ever seen in my life" Erica tells the group of four and five "And I've seen some crazy shit."
"Guess I'm the guinea pig" Robin says with a sigh before she climbs up the rope, before falling onto Eddie's mattress. After that, Asher, Nancy and Steve all look over to Eddie, who gave the three a blank look.
"All right, I guess I'll go" Eddie says, getting what they were going to say, before he climbs up the rope, also landing on his mattress "That was fun" Eddie says before Dustin helps him up.
"Ladies first" Asher says, looking at Nancy, who does the same as Eddie and Robin did before her, landing on the mattress before Dustin gives her a hand up, leaving just Steve and Asher. "Okay, I'm going now" Asher tells Steve.
